My Sentiments:  

This is the last of this book 6 series that did tie up this mystery story quite well. There were many twists and turns, but the story ended with a little romance for the two main characters, Laura and Harry. I enjoyed how the author gave in each of her series some information divulged in each book that would lead to some conclusion to the story as you continue on to the next book.

What will we find in this series as we go into An Outer Banks Mystery Book 5? Yes, another 'mystery romantic relationship with family and friends will be found in this short thriller adventure that will keep one turning the pages. Now Laura and Harry have returned from Alaska with their missing friend, Chloe. What has This poor girl been through? Lots of lies and deceit all around her seem like a mess. And besides that, she told Laura and Harry her new name was Sylvia Sands!

 And their friend will be accused of being in contact with this kidnapping organization. So, the story will 

continue. Was Chloe really involved in this mess? There will be much upheaval and intrigue that will be coming in the next Book 6. So get ready! You, the rea er, will be k t 'guessing, making predictions' while trying to figure out what is happening with these characters.' What's up with Laura's mom? My Sentiments:

As this series continues with book four, this author gives the reader another good story as we see Laura and Harry continuing their investigation. Through this investigation, these two, along with the police [Detective Greta], will they be able to find a classmate Chloe, who has been missing for over twenty years? 

Laura is still trying to discover who kidnapped Trin and the other kids and who else is involved in this mess. Laura still has to find out more about her mom's illness, and with that, she tries to fight off her feelings for Harry. Will she be able to do that?  

Be ready for many twists and turns, a fast-paced mystery, as the story gets very complex in what all is going on with some fascinating characters that will leave one in awe ...I didn't see that one coming. To get the rest of the story, you must pick up this read and be ready for the next book, 5, as this cliffhanger continues.

My Thoughts...

This author gives the reader in this third book in the Crazy Rich Asians series a read of great drama, some hilarious laughs with some characters, wonderful vacations spots, entertainment and scenic descriptions[clothing and jewelry] that will really have you thinking you are looking at a movie right in front of you.  What wacky antics that this large family seems to have that will keep you turning the pages to its conclusion to a hilarious series. Be prepared to read of a 'dysfunctional, paranoid, social climbing crazies with some ridiculous fun.' This will be one intriguing, incredible and entertaining read that I would recommend to the readers.

"Unbalanced 2: Marriage then Love" by Laura T. Johnson

My Thoughts....

Having read the first novel by this author I was very much interested in reading to the continuance
of this story in this second book 2. Well, I will say for poor Catherine this author really give the reader quite a read that was so full of pain. I really felt for Catherine because truly all she wanted was to be truly loved by her husband. On the outside it seemed like that was what she had from Dorian but as one reads this story truly this wasn't the case. Did Dorian really feel that after he had abused Catherine giving her 'expensive gifts and great sex' was all that he needed to do in order to have or keep Catherine's love? There were several things going on in this read that one really can see ... Catherine being abused, Dorian horrible acts and then a love interest that was put there by a brother-in-law. With Catherine wanting to just be loved will she fall for what it seems that is out of reach for her? This story is so sad in more than one can ever know because we know someone who has or is suffering from this kind of abuse everyday of our lives. What was a puzzlement for me was what can Myles truly do about this situation without causing so deep hurt and sorrow after it is all said and done with the families [brothers,sister-in-laws, dad, mom & grandmother. For poor Catherine I don't think she can think straight...definitely she needed someone to talk to. However, at this point I don't think it would be her sister [Elise] who was their but would Cat listen? Well, as we go into the next series maybe all of these questions will be answered and so much more that it will be all cleared up for the readers. I do believe this author will be able to make this all make sense by the time we get to the end. I would suggest anyone who has read 'Unbalanced 2' to please go back and read the first book to see what you missed by not reading Book 1. I am sure it will help you understand just what has gone on with Catherine and Dorian up to this point from book 1. Truly Dorian need HELP before it's too late! I hate to see what will happen to him if he doesn't get it! Anyway I will stop here and say I was able to follow maybe not understanding why all of this was happening but as I say earlier I am so this author will get if all presented to us in the next 'Unbalanced 3.' Yes, this is a cliffhanger. I will be looking forward to seeing will their be hope and true love for Catherine to receive her finally getting a HEA that she so desperately wants mainly from a true love.

My Thoughts...

I found this another good read from the author.  The two main characters [Sonja and Eric] were off the chart but I must say that Sonya was the bomb.  That ending truly left me saying wow.  The author knows how to get and keep your attention with that little twist that you may not see coming.  The title really fits this novella.   Very well done to the author!

I choose this read for my Amazon Prime September, 2016.

"Becoming Marta" by Lorea Canales

My Thoughts...

This was some read that you really had to keep up to truly understand what all is going on giving the reader some timeline that was somewhat hard to follow. But in the end this author gives the reader quite a unique way of telling a story.  The chapters which were rather short really jumped around quite a bit from character to character.  I believe if each chapter had been titled in such a way to let the reader know who that particular [character] was about would have helped a bit with the reading of the story.  As the read was presented I found it left the story a little choppy to me. Now, this main character Marta was one complicated person ...all I will say is wow...for she was 'rich, loved to drink the spirits and was simply a spoiled person.'  Will Marta ever find a happy ending...maybe becoming a runner will help?  I did like how this author presented the descriptions of Mexico's culture.  This was definitely a different kind of read for me that really left me thinking...just really what is this story all about?  OK, this is one of those kind of reads that may leave you hanging wondering what happened in the end with that abrupt ending...a marathon run? Believe me when I say I was glad for the ending!

"Catch Me If You Can"  by Anita Davis

What I liked about this novel....

Wow,wow, wow ... this was some story that will deal with with four main characters...Karen, Kyle, Melody and Andrew.  You will have to keep up with this read because there is so much going on[secrets]!   The story starts out with girl [Karen]  bumping into a guy [Kyle] on a run and from there a friendship/relationship will start but will this last due to Kyle's past that has caught up with him.Then there is Dennis!  Now, how does he play in all of this?   As the story continues we  will have two best friends of Karen and Kyle who will become lovers [Melody and Andrew]. But for them wow...what comes out will truly have you saying wow...for me I definitely didn't see that one coming for these two. Now, what did Melody's mom have to do with that situation?    I know this review sound somewhat strange but I don't want to give too away to much other than saying  you must pick this one  novel "Catch Me If You Can" to see for your how well this author will give you a read that will  keep you on pins and needles as you are reading through this well written story.  I did have a problem with one of the main characters Karen...she really got on my last nerves quite a bit because of what had happened to her in the past, and now being with .....  but at the end she does redeem herself somewhat for me to understand her thought process. For the most part I found the characters very interesting, well developed, well portrayed and believable [well some] that will help deliver to the reader quite a unique romantic read.   In the end will any of these main characters be left standing in this romance that goes alone so well with this title:  "Catch Me If You Can?

This novel was very well written and I would recommend it as a good read.

"Desperate Measures" by Sandra Orchard

What I liked about this novel...

"Desperate Measures" by Sandra Orchard was this author's 'Port Aster Secrets #3' and ...I love this suspenseful mystery read that kept my interest from the beginning to the very end.  I will say to probably better understand some of what went on in this series it would be a good idea to read the first two novels [Deadly Devotion and on to Blind Trust].  But since I didn't I will say that the mystery of it all starts from the very beginning as your attention will be grabbed quickly as this 'series centers around a mysterious plant[miracle plant] that supposedly has miraculous properties.'  As the story goes on we find Kate's father was involved in this the plant situation and from here this author will bring to the reader a good mystery read that will unravel the rest of this series to the reader.

This was quite a interesting read about Detective Tom Parker and Kate Adams, who was a herbal research scientist.  I loved how this author was able to give the reader a mystery with a lots of conspiracy that was non stopped action in this trilogy. The author's writing will have you guessing you know the answer but later finding out you didn't have that clue with all of the twist and turns that will be presented to the reader. You will be wondering...[Who are the good guy and the bad ones?] The lead heroine Kate really knew her job which I found her research work was very fascinating to read about and then their was the detective Tom.  We find the detective is trying to solve this mystery too that surrounds Kate which will give us quite an interesting read.   I don't know but to me there seemed to be something missing from these two[Tom & Kate]..sometimes I thought these two were clueless...but in the end maybe they really deserved each other in all of there tense romantic moments where you will be left wondering will these two ever learn that they really care for each other?    

Be ready for a read of suspense, mystery, action and even some humor.  There will be some well developed, defined, well portrayed and believable characters that will keep the  details[secrets]that will be brought out to the reader with a very riveting conclusion for the reader.   Now, this is where I say I don't want to say any more other than you must pick up this read "Desperate Measures" to see how it will all come out.  I found it was one good read.

Needless to say once I started reading I was not able to put down with a plot that moves so very smoothly...with intriguing scenes and all of my questions were all answered in the end from this well written novel.

What  I loved from this read...

There is only one thing I can say and that is this author did it again and that is giving a reader a second read that will keep you entertained till the end.

What I liked from the read.... Drama, drama and more drama from these two main characters and let's not forget some of those amazing secondary characters that will keep you on the edge of your seat turning the pages!  You, the readers are really getting a story of  a  erotic romance, suspense, mystery, thriller, action,  family secrets, twist and turns but in the end wow what a alpha male.  This author really worked her magic with this storyline  with all of the details she presented...you will have to keep up!

What I hated from this read....

The Cliffhanger!  We, the reader will just have to wait for part 3 to see how this story will unfold!

"Read the Warning Label First" by BM Hardin

What I liked about this novel...

First of all I enjoyed how this author was able to give us a story that  fitted the title so well.
For dear Tori it seems like she has it all planned on the way her life should go...1-2-3... but what will happen we there enters some twist and turns with some very strange characters?  Now will it be  ...a friend, a lover, and even a sister who will bring on some havoc into Tori's life?   It was so good to see that Tori didn't let this take her down being so determined.  I loved how Tori's mom tired  to help her come out of this dark place by telling her not to running away with her words of encouragement. Now, will Tori be willing to listen and take it all in  after all is said and done?  Be ready for a story full of 'lies and deceit.'   Well....  I will stop here because I don't want to give too much away other than say that this author really knows how to  give the reader quite a interesting love story that will keep you turning the pages. One thing that is for sure one may be down for a minute but you can also still rise from it all and good things can happen for you. I loved that ending and I thought that "Read The Warning Label First" was beautifully written and will give you cause to think on this storyline line after the read.  The plot and deliverance was well done by the author.  The ending seemed a little rushed however, the story still came together very well and omg... I am still caught up with that ending. Very well done by the author.

What I enjoyed from this read.....

Wow! All I can say is this was some read. I must say I would suggest you read this author's first novel 'The Man Who Loved Too Much [Archipelago #1]' before reading this novel which continues on from book one. I found in 'Book 2: Entrendre' was quite a continuous journey of life as it was for Billy Green. I liked how this author was able to bring it all out with this person being so innocence and naive truly giving us a quite a read of just what all Billy Green had to through. Will Billy come out of all that is presented to him and still be the 'good' Billy Green as his mom sees him as? Will Billy really find the true meaning of just what 'Love Is' as he goes on with his life that seems not to be going the way he would like. But one thing for sure is that Billy was loved by his sweet Mom. Sorry I had to slip that in and at a point in the read he needed some love. I loved how this author was able to bring that relationship out so well to the readers. I will say the reader will be presented with some real interesting characters in this read ...some continues from the 'book one' and then 'book two' which there were some that were likable ones however, there were some not so likable ...and I can name three or four right off the bat.... as you continue to read from the novel. From the story we get quite a interesting well written story that will keep your attention in this read. I don't want to spoil it other than say you must pick up this novel to see what else will go on in Billy Green life as he seeks to find out or should I say will he truly find out what real true love is with the and main question being will he ever get what he really wants in life? It was quite interesting how this author deals with and brings what all is going in the life of Billy Green as he will leave one area and go to another. What is that all about? Will Billy find what he is looking for from this major move? Again, pick up this novel where all of these questions and much more will be answered. So, if you are looking for a 'challenging, humorous, tragic and very unpredictable' story then you have come to the right place for "The Man Who Loved Too Much Book 2: Entendre" will be a good read that I would definitely recommend to you. I will be looking for the next book 3 to get the end of it all of this story of Billy Green.

What I liked about this novel....

This novel was very interesting and the title says it all. Yes, I did find most everyone had some kind of problems going on in their life...wife, a her girl friends, a husband, his mistress, both of their gay friends...yes this was one total messed up situation. This author knows how to keep your attention because I am sure behind all of this hopefully something good is going to come from this it since most of this read has gone downhill.  You can see I have high hopes thinking that this next part of this story will bring it all out to what in the world is truly going on between these characters...Zen and Jazz along with some other very interesting secondary ones.  I am very interested in what is coming next because if the story is anything like this first novel it will be a read not to miss reading to see if anyone will be left standing.

What I liked about this novel....

All I can and will say about this story is that you will have to pick this one up to read.  This author really shows the reader that she can write a not only interesting read but also captivating, intriguing and oh my goodness downright a good story.  Once you start with 'Her' side of this story then you will be delivered "His" side of the story and it will not be what you may think it is or should be.  Wow is all I can say as I was reading and shaking my head saying Wow did that just happen?  This was one read that I can say out did the twist and turns because there will be so many you will have to keep up and that will not be hard...just keep reading and there will be even more surprises and secrets revealed all the way to the end of this story.  This author really shows the readers she can write with those characters...Niveah, Santana, Joey, Sheila only to name a few that will keep you turning the pages until the end giving the reader a excellent read from start to finish.  To the author... you know how to really write a story!

What I liked abut this read...

Having part one and two of this novel part together like this being presented by this author was off the chart...well done.    I can't say how much like liked reading both of these all put together so well and indeed this was a  well written story about Bridget,  Paul and a few other characters.  After a betrayal would Bri be able to get her life back together?  Soon after Paul becomes a ex  husband of Bri's will there still be a lots of drama presented from him?  What was it with that phase Paul would say to Bri till death do us part?  What happens after James come back into Bri's life?  I do know that Bri couldn't have had  better friends as she had in Jas and Cori.  I found all of the characters especially Mel and Tammy(and a few more) were simply some interesting ones bringing so much drama and chaos into this read that once you started reading this novel one  will find it hard to put down with all of its twist and turns that went on. This is a fast paced read and you will have no trouble with it keeping your attention all the way to the end.  By the end of the read you will be simply amazed at just who is left standing and surviving.  This will be one interesting journey so get ready for some surprises and secrets that will come out and  give the reader  in the end a good read..."I Had To Do It....Parts 1 and Part 2." Thank you author for putting these two stories together being able to get the whole story was wonderfully done.

What I liked about this novel...


This was a very enjoyable passionate read about Jezebel Jones is finally finding herself.  Not wanting to be hurt Jezebel  wants no drama and fuss in her life by denying herself of any pleasures when it came to love.    Thinking by having a back up friend that was their for her just in case she never found her special person, however, what will happen when this person does come into her life?  How will her back up friend take this situation and how will her new friend take to the back up friend?   The answers to these questions and so much more will be answered in this well written love story. This author really knows who to keep the readers attention  with such a thought provoking read as you will be drawn into this story with some very interesting characters.  I loved how this author presented this  interracial relationship and how it was dealt with along with the issues with the  back up best friend.

What I liked about this novel...

This author really knows how to get the readers attention and this read really does just that.  Savannah has a lots of growing up to do and hopefully she will do just that as she will have to meet some very challenging times for her life with ?  I will be looking forward to this author's next read to see what she has in store  for  Ms. Savannah.

What I liked about this novel...

"Hero" was simply a wonderful read.  This author puts it out there and the story is indeed one intriguing and captivating read.  Once you pick it up you will find it hard to put down because there is so much going on your attention will be kept up front and center till the very end of this story.  The two main characters Alexa Holland and Caine Carraway along with several secondary characters were all well developed, defined, well portrayed and oh so very believable all giving the reader a well written storyline.  The reader will be drawn into this story where we find Alexa is not only beautiful but smart and yes even strong and Caine is so well driven with some darkness and oh yes hot.  Putting these two people together and you have one good story that is well told. Be ready for a emotional ride that will present love, sexy passion with such such chemistry that will definitely leave a smile on your face along with their bantering throughout this story.  So, if you are looking for a good read with romance, drama, some mystery and suspense you have come to the right place for "Hero" will give it all to you and YES I would definitely recommend this novel to you!
