"Faith For Every Mountain" by Paulette Harper

My Thoughts....

I loved this read as it dealt  with faith. This was definitely a good read of encouragement being laid out for the reader to easily understand.  I liked how the author brought out "five things to consider under pressure, three parts of being...Spirit, Soul and Body and just What is faith, in the end Faith Remains because you have what it takes...Faith for Every Mountain."  This was a wonderful read that you will want to reread many times.  A  beautifully short read done by the author that in the end will offer the reader help to move and know how to handle every situation that is put before you definitely "Faith For Every Mountain"  being a faith booster read.

My Thoughts......

This was a well written wonderful magical fantasy read with interesting main characters  [Jack & Jasminda], setting[Elsira, which is a land of Silents People], love and oh yes beautiful magic [Earthsong powers]  "Song of Blood & Stone" will definitely a enthralling read that will keep your attention turning the pages to see what was coming next.  Be ready for 'sex scenes, mentions of rape, racism, mystery, action paced, with humanity, love, romance, history, war violence, political drama, adventure and in the end giving one quite a riveting tale' that will keep you captivated in this fantasy world.    It was interesting seeing this unlikely pair Jack & Jasminda who will 'face undue scrutiny due to their different skin colors.'  Now to get more of this story you will have to pick up this read to see how well this author brings it all out and in the end giving the reader a wrapped up thought provoking story.  I did like at the beginning of each chapter there was a quote from collected folktales which went so well with each schapter.

Someone to Care by Mary Balogh

Book Description...

"Once the Countess of Riverdale, Viola Kingsley throws all caution to the wind when adventure calls in the form of a handsome aristocrat. . . .

Two years after the death of the Earl of Riverdale, his family has overcome the shame of being stripped of their titles and fortune--except for his onetime countess, Viola. With her children grown and herself no longer part of the social whirl of the ton, she is uncertain where to look for happiness--until quite by accident her path crosses once again with that of the Marquess of Dorchester, Marcel Lamarr.

Marcel Lamarr has been a notorious womanizer since the death of his wife nearly twenty years earlier. Viola caught his eye when she herself was a young mother, but she evaded his seduction at the time. A prize that eluded him before, she is all the more irresistible to him now although he is surprised to discover that she is as eager now for the excitement he offers as he is himself.

When the two defy convention and run away together, they discover that the ties of respectability are not so easily severed, and pleasure can ensnare you when you least expect it. . . ."

"Someone to Care" by Mary Balogh

My Thoughts...

This was quite a interesting Victorian historical fiction read by this author will capture your attention from the first chapter.  I liked this captivating story of Viola Kingsley and Marcel Lamarr who reconnected after many years and find a second chance at love and life.  What brought this story up to this point?  Well, from a loveless marriage for 23 years to find out at her husband [the Earl was a bigamist] death Viola Kingsley wasn't marriaged at all and her children were illegitimate. 'Being cast out of proper society after learning her marriage and life as a Countess' was a farce she decides to leave the area for a home by herself he meets Marcel Lamarr [an old flirt, a rogue who she rejected 14 years ago] and they decide to run away together and this is where this story will take off.

To get the rest of this intriguing story you will just have to pick up "Someone to Care" to find out the rest of the story which will become somewhat a complicated life as we learn more about Viola and Marcel's feelings for each other that slowly grows into a slow friendship and then develops into love.
However, they had both had 'experienced great pain in their life and dealt with it quite differently.'
I will stop here and say if you are into a 'older heroine and hero' getting their HEA then this engaging read would be for you.

Stand & Deliver by Rhenna Morgan

Book Description....

"Live hard, f*ck harder and make their own rules. Those are the cornerstones the six Men of Haven bleed by, taking what they want, always watching each other’s backs and loving the women they claim with unyielding tenderness and fierce

Security expert Beckett Tate has met his match in colleague Gia Sinclair. He longs to run his hands over each and every one of her lush curves. She’s wicked smart and wicked hot. He’s given her time to get used to the idea of “them,” but her time is up and he’s ready to go all in on claiming what’s his.

Despite her love of all things girlie, Gia’s no typical Southern belle. She’s built her skills and reputation in a field normally dominated by men, and now she has a kick-ass career she loves. She certainly doesn’t need a man to take care of her—especially not one who’s pure alpha. Still, Beckett’s the one man who can satisfy the desires she’s hidden under her tough exterior, and she’s hooked.

Letting Beckett take the lead in the bedroom comes naturally to Gia—not constantly proving herself to him professionally is more of a struggle. And when someone attacks her character and career, Gia and Beckett will have to find a balance: her willingness to let go just a little, with his trust in her abilities and his deep, primal need to protect his woman."

My Thoughts....

Great story with not only a sweet romance but also a little mystery and suspense that will keep you turning the pages.  This novel features Beckett and Gia both with stubborn ways that will keep the reader shaking there heads and saying not again!  Believe me these two go so well utterly together!  This is the fifth brother[Beckett]  in the 'Men of Haven' series where we find Becket and Gia finally getting together.  However, this author really knows how to bring out the unexpected giving the reader a lots of depth in creating for us such a well written story.  I really liked how the SPD [Sensory Processing Disorder] was incorporated into this story.  I was able  to learn something from what SPD was in the way it was presented in this story. If you are looking for a good read "Stand & Deliver" will give the reader a story that is enriched with a little bit of it all from 'emotion, vulnerability, love, friendship, family, intensity, humorous, loyal, heart and passion' all of this  will definitely keep your attention through this incredible good read. So, is there another read left in this Men of Haven Series?  Yes,  Axel's story!

"Hard Harvest" by J. Haney & S. I. Hayes

My Thoughts...

This series picked up from 'A Country Fair Romance' in "Hart Harvest" featuring the Blackthorne/Hopkins Clan. I would suggest you read the other series 1-5 so you will know what has gone on with this family.  Be ready for a little bit of it all as we find Fallon already with six babies is now expecting another baby, being caught up in all of her business expansions, making wedding plans that Blaine is trying to help her with, the couple ...[Fallon and Justin] issues, Fallon's brothers  [Nick, Pete who was an HS senior]  & their Dad. Put all of these people in the same room and it seems like nothing will come out of it but a disaster.  I will say these are some very interesting main and secondary characters that will definitely keep your attention as you keep turning through the chapters to see what will be coming next. By the end of this read, the reader will be left with Fallon having baby issues where she ends up in the hospital.  So, I guess we will find out more about this 'Blackthorne/Hopkins Clan' in the next series A Country Fair Romance # 6 in "Family Zoo."

"MisGiving Hearts" by J. Haney & S. I. Hayes

My Thoughts...

This was quite an interesting read of a young Charity Daniels who not only fell in love with an older man but her Literature teacher who just happened to be her teacher. As time moves on what will happen to Charity who is still with her 'Princeton Man' Logan but meets Quinn Everett.  What happens as flirtations start between Charity and Quinn [Q]?  I could tell that there was something wrong with Logan from the start as he seemed to be too dominating and just plain creepy.  What will happen to Charity as her life takes a quite a change from what is going on in her life [trauma] especially coming from Logan as his jealousy starts to come out?  Will Quinn be able to save Charity as it seems like everything is turning against her?  I liked the secondary characters from the read that were all well developed and portrayed giving the reader a uniqueness that kept the reader guessing just how the story will come out.  To get this whole story you will have to pick up "MisGiving Hearts to see how well these authors bring it all out.  In the end 'Will these unproven lovers stay the course and avoid the devious plat of a scorned man?''
