My Thoughts...
I have read many of this author reads and I will say this one didn't disappoint me at all. This one had a little bit of it all from mystery, thriller, suspense and even some christian thoughts were wedge into the story. This was the first in this series of 'The Reed Family' that dealt mainly with Jo, her husband Bryan and the fact that she was a detective that was dealing with a case that seemed to be 'a copycat killer.' What will happen when Josephine [Jo] finds out about what her husband has been up to. Being a lead detective in this upcoming case will Jo be able to give it her all? I love how this author brings out how importance of prayer that was especially needed with what all Jo was going through in her marriage problems. Will Jo's job be too much for her? I loved how this author was able to give us a well written story with all of its 'family dynamics' one can relate to in one way or the other. The mystery of the story's main plot was very well developed, defined, portrayed and believable that will keep your attention to the end. I will be waiting for the next series about 'The Read Family' because there are some interesting Reed sisters I would like to know more about. Would I recommend? YES!
Thank you to the author for the gift of the read for my honest opinion of the review.
