My Assessment:

What will happen when Cassie Wolfe's father is alive after thinking he had died some twenty-five years ago and is now back and being accused of murdering his brother? With Cassie being a criminal lawyer, will she be able to help Henry when she even had some doubts about whether or not he was guilty or not? But, he was still her father...what was she to do?

What surprised me most about the story was that her family seemed somewhat involved in this mess. The author gives the reader a tale as Cassie works hard to solve this horrible crime blamed on her father.

The ending...wow! But I wasn't too shocked by whom the killer turned out to be.

Would I recommend this novel...YES!
