Review:
"A Bright Particular Star" by Elizabeth Hanbury was a real sweet historical and intriguing 'Regency' romance read.
This hero and heroine seemed very real and especially in their feelings for each other. I found "The Bright Particular Star"was a page turner for me... really hooked from the very start. I enjoyed how the author gave us all the twist and turns of the suspenseful plot.... with all of its' English details of Sophie's spirit and her inheritance. What is to come of all of this? ....two romances, very conniving relatives, jewels and a thief. Now, this is the time that I say...You must simply pick up this romantic read to find out just what is going on.
The characters were simply good....Sophia, Theo, Perry, Aunt Eudora, Olivia, James Verney, Lucius Grey, Mr. Melville, Peregrine, Lady Verney, Harry-Isabella & Dominic Cavanagh, Harriet &Sir Seymour, Saunders and I am sure I have left out a few others ... all being charismatic, realistic and very interesting people....making this a very enjoyable read.
"A Bright Particular Star" was a wonderful historical romance and if you are in for a good 'regency romance' you have come to the right place. I would recommend this novel as a excellent read.
BOOKS... I love reading and have read a lot of GENRES in my lifetime. Being a book reviewer for Net Gallery and many various authors, I have contributed many reviews to Goodreads, Amazon, LibraryThing, and my blog page here. I get to read all the books I love and then share by reviewing the read. These are my true feeling of what I feel of each novel I read.
