"Promise Me" by Dee Julian was a well written sweet historical romance read setting from Cambridge, England in 1860's. I felt this read was very interesting, entertaining and a wonderful historical romance that would keep you reading and not being able to put the book down until the very end. How this heroine (Lady Sheridan)and hero (Duke of Chase) seened ti be duking it out most of the time.....was interesting to read abou to see what was going on next. Leah (Lady Sheridan) was mouring her unfaithful fiance...then the finace's brother enters the picture and sparks began to fly...just what had happen to his brother? I will only say you will have to pick up this read to find out how this stuffy duke begans to soften and become even likable toward the end. Be ready for a excellent plot with many twist and turns in this romantic mystery novel. The characters are very interesting, charming, funny and even more..... likable.
If you are in for a good historical romantic read with some mystery "Promise Me" will definitely satisfy you and I would recommend this one as a excellent read.
