My View....

Wow, is all I can say about this 'Siren Erotic Romance' that takes place in a small town that was only for these three ...Chris, Jilly and Nate who were happily together as being married.  The only thing about this situation was that they thought they were in a happy in a safe place [with the BDSM giving them the way of life that they desired] but were they?  What will happen as Chris who suffers with PTSD is on constant alarm that his family was a risk?  What will happen with a certain visitor come to this small town that is run by The Love Play Matchmaking Service appears and seems to have thoughts of Nate and Jilly?  How does this affect this entire family...Chris, Jilly and Nate?  I have put out a lots of questions so that you the reader will have to pick up "Joy to HIs World" to get all of these questions answered and so much more that as this author presents it so very well to the readers.  All that is left to say is that there was definitely a learning part in the read especially seeing how so many military people have suffered with PTSD deal with this day by day.  This author does a very good job at giving the reader, one suspenseful, BDSM Menage...M/M/F read that is especially for those adults who  enjoy this genre of reads.

My Thoughts

Wow, this was a quick good read.  Now if you are into erotic menage settings...then this is a read for you. Now, this is a adult read so be aware of that.  This author really works it with these 'three lonely individuals' especially during the holiday season who were seeking happiness.  What will happen when Jilly Reimers who is looking for love  meets Chris Spinell and Chris Poole who just happened to know each other being that they were both war veterans of the war in Afghanistan? Will "The Love Play Matchmaking Service that has been set up my a sister and friend be able to help these two men find the love they longed for?  What will happen when the three find out they have been set up in a menage by this service? Be aware that there is plenty of hot steamy sex scenes.  In the end will Jilly, Chris S and Chris P get the Merry Christmas they wanted?  To get the answers to these questions and so much more you will have to pick up 'Merry "Chris" Mas' to see how well this author presents this very intriguing 'menage' story to whether these three get their wish.  There seems like there will be  more in this 'Love Play Matchmaking Service series.'

Book Description...

"ZERO DARK THIRTY with a SCI-FI twist

Soon after, he recalls the face and realizes that she might hold the key to solving a personal mystery. The conclusion: He believes he’s staring at a pair of potential suicide bombers.

As his suspicions grow, he enlists the assistance of those friends that refer to themselves quite simply as, The Unit. The uncertainty of the possible catastrophe in the making leaves The Unit doubtful of any imminent threat and some doubtful of Boddies’ leadership. Evidence to the contrary, The Unit’s surveillance leads them to both old and new Islamic enemies of the state with a diabolical plan to destroy America.

However, what lies ahead unbeknownst to them all encompasses a terrifying doomsday scenario. Despite the military and terrorist training and combat against each other around the globe, nothing may help the Delta Force, Al-Qaeda and the Islamic State of Iraq and ash-Sham or ISIS members to conquer this newest enemy and defy their inescapable trap. My Thoughts...

This was definitely a different kind of read for me but it was an interesting thriller read especially if you are interested in anti-terrorist operations that take place on United States soil.  The solving of this 'personal mystery' soon gets the attention of Lincoln Boddies...that will bring him to believe 'He's staring at a pair of potential suicide bombers.  This author really gives the readers quite a 'Zero Dark with a Sci-Fi twist' of a read as this unit  is lead to some 'old and new Islamic enemies of the state' ....resulting to a plan to will have America destroyed.'  Will this 'Delta Force, Al-Qaeda and the Islamic State of Iraq and ISIS members be able to get ahead of this whole situation in this 'inescapable trap...the S.Y.P.H..E.N?  Will this patriotic hero be able to save his family and country? To get these answers and so much more you will have to pick up this novel and follow along as this author will bring it all out to the readers.

"A Chance of a Lifetime" by Marilyn Pappano

My Thoughts....

This series really puts more icing on the cake as this is this author's fifth in the Tallgrass series that
features Benita Ford and Captain Calvin Sweet from Tallgrass Oklahoma.  The reader will be presented with a story that will be with the reader long after the read. This read will take the reader to three friends since childhood but after growing up we find that only two of the third friends had remained friends.  What had happened in the total relationship to Calvin, J'Myel and Bennie known as childhoods....'The Three Musketeers?'   Would a death of one of the friends and the return of another from Afghanistan who was now back home suffering with PTSD bring these two friends  [Bennie and Calvin] back together again after many years had passed?  I loved how this author was able to bring into this storyline not only the two main characters but another group of characters were simply off the chart so well developed, defined, well portrayed and believable.  Here are just a few of this wonderful cast of characters..... The Sweets Family, Pickerings Family, Ms. Emmeline, Diez, Joe Cadore, Lucy[Luce],Trinity Adams, Ilena Gomez, John, Tuesday Night Margarita Club members....Carly Clark, Jessy, Fia, Marti, Patricia, Leach, Therese to name a few.  Many of these people will have there own story that will be well mentioned  in this story. The Margarita Club members who were all friends and widows...who had lost a husband in war. I loved this group of ladies!  I found this novel to be very well written by this author...the main question would Calvin and Bennie take the ultimate risk for a love of a lifetime after all is said and done and Bennie learns the whole story of just what had happened between them[Calvin & JMyel?  I don't want to spoil any of it other that say you will have to pick up  this author novel 'A Chance Of A Lifetime.'  It will keep your attention all the way to the end giving her readers a good read.  Would I recommend?  Yes

I received a copy through NOR  in exchange for an honest review.

"The Navy Seal's Christmas Bride"

What I liked from my read....

This was a delightful romantic read that involved two individuals that were in competition with each other from start and  all the way to the end.   This author really works her magic with this one  but in the end...well I will just say I will not give it away other than say you must pick up this good read to see for yourself how Dan and Sarah will make peace with each other.  I will say that I found myself laughing a lots during my read.  If you are into military, cowboys and Christmas I would definitely recommend "The Navy Seal's Christmas Bride" to you as a good read.

"Shelter Me" by Catherine Mann...

From USA Today bestselling author Catherine Mann comes this beautiful, heartwarming novel about a returning military officer, the daughter of his fallen commander, and a very special dog with a mission. For fans of Jill Shalvis and Susan Mallery.

"Nestled in the sunny fields of Tennessee lies the McDaniel family’s Second Chance Ranch Animal Rescue. Two new arrivals are on their way, but only one is the four-legged kind.

Staff Sergeant Mike Kowalski wants only one thing after he gets home from Iraq: to sleep in a king-sized bed with clean sheets. But first, he has to hand off his fallen commander’s dog, Trooper, to his family without handing off his heart to Sierra…

Sierra McDaniel needs a break. Her family life is crazy, and when she’s not mucking out kennels, she’s slogging through grad school. Sierra certainly doesn’t want another dog, especially one that reminds her of her father. And she definitely doesn’t want to see Mike with that charming smile of his…

But Trooper has a mission of his own. Before too long Mike is moving to the ranch to lend a hand—and hoping for his own second chance with Sierra."

What I liked from  "Shelter Me"....

hesitated  a bit before I picked up this read after reading what this novel was about but I am so glad that I did.  I will say this author really knows how to write a script that puts the reader at ease with the subject line.  Let's just say this was a story that involved the whole McDaniel family. From the father, [fallen commander], his father (the grandfather), wife, daughter, son, dog and a dear friend of  the family. You will find from the read that this is a military family  their has been a death [a dear son, husband and father...with  the surviving family members  have to endure quite a lots pain before this story will end.  A dear friend [Mike]to the family has brought home a dog [Trooper] that had belonged to this fallen commander.  Why, because Mike had  promised to do so.  It seems like this dog was a reminder of a dog that had once been owned by this fallen commander.   Only when Mike had done his job  with delivering Trooper to this family  he they will see that this family needed his help.  With Mike being on leave what could he do but help especially since this would possibly put him closer to Sierra since they had broken up with much earlier before his time over seas. I will let you in on a secret... I even teared  up  while reading some of this good read.  This author really works her magic in showing how each one of these family members were desperately in the need of his help and yet didn't Mike also need help?   Also this author even gave thoughts of  that of the  dog Trooper...yes of  what Trooper was thinking from the read.  Now, you know dogs can't talk or can they?

The primary and secondary characters  were all richly  developed as they seemed to come alive on the pages with each scene and conversation  being so complete and special.  Also those hot, steamy scenes from  a certain couple was off the chart...well done.  I don't want to give too much away but I will say this was a excellent and yes it's a military read. So be prepared for some real issues that can happen and you will find it interesting in how they are handled.  Will they be fixable?  You will just have to see for yourself.  "Shelter Me" was somewhat long read but nothing was over done. When this author brings it to a close at the end of the read all will be wrapped up...well except one situation that will have you wondering.... but you will have to read the next series  to find out what that was.  Would I recommend  "Shelter Me?"   YES and Yes!
