"Ruthless Justice" by Freya Atwood & Cobalt Fairy

My Speculation:  

Again, this author gives the reader another suspenseful, compelling, emotional, thriller read, with action,  with twists and turns, unraveling secrets that will keep you on the edge of your seat wanting more.  'Ruthless Justice' was had a well-developed storyline with a wonderful cast of characters and scenes.  I especially enjoyed the courtroom scenes with all of their interplay between the two lawyers.  It was quite interesting as family secrets will come out about Megan's sister Catherine with a few clues that will be revealed due to a cold case, dear to Megan.  Megan, a defense attorney, will defend her sister, so be prepared for quite an 'emotional roller-coaster ride' as the reader will be taken on one unforgettable ride.  How will this author bring this story out to the reader?  Well, you will have to pick up 'Ruthless Justice' to see how well that is done.

My Speculation:

"Reaper of Justice' was quite a crime thriller that will keep you turning the pages to see what was going on next for Megan Corver, who was a District Attorney trying a case where she was defending a young man for murder. It was good to see how well this attorney sought after the truth while working on Oliver's defense.

From this murder, there will be another one where it seems like this may 'reflected on her family as well,' giving the reader one interesting ending. Be ready for lots of suspense; the danger with some twists and turns will have you shaking your head and saying, wow. The characters were well-delivered and defined, and the reader is caught up in the storyline. If you like crime thrillers, I think you may like 'Reaper of Justice.'

It seemed that her mother's death wasn't all that important to the officials for some strange reason, and there was that strangeness of their father's disappearance. At least her sister Cathy would be looked after by their uncle Jim while Megan if off to school. I am not sure about the boyfriend Dean, but I guess we will have to wait and figure out what is going on by another read. Now, I will start reading this author's 'Reaper of Justice and Ruthless Justice.'

My Speculation:  

I enjoyed the short read of "I Need Release."  I liked Nia and Brandon meet up at the club and how shocked she was when she found out who she will be working for when she went to work the following day.  I am sure this story will have some more hot scenes that the reader will be looking forward to in the next series as we find out what is going on with Brandon.

My Speculation:

Another good Bad Boy Series that will keep your attention all the way till the ending. I enjoyed how this author puts these characters Shane, Malaysia, Tobias, and Cherise back together, giving the readers an awesome read. It looks like Shane was determined to go after what he wanted. It was quite a suspense romance with a lot of action, and oh my, bring on the drama and some hot sex scenes. By the end, we are given one beautiful story. To read it all, I would recommend you start with the first 'Bad Boy Series Book 1 and then continue to this next series. I guess we are left wondering if there will be more 'Bad Boy Series?' I hope so!

My Speculation:

I will say this author really gave the readers an excellent, well-written novel. I loved this story that featured Ameer and Sibohan's love story. Bringing in both families in the story was absolutely wonderful, even Messiah's dad. Then let's go to that wedding where all of the Ali Brother shared a significant scene that was simply beautiful! I felt somewhat sorry for one of the characters...Cheri because she really needed some help. Be ready for an emotional read. All in all, the whole story was beautiful. Every time I think I have a favorite Ali Brother, where each of the brothers experienced their true love, but differently, a new one shows up, where I think Ameer won for me. Thank you to the author for a beautiful love story.

My Speculation:

This last series, "His to Devastate," brings this love story to an ending. How will this all come out for Ben, Kimani, Uncle Gordon, May, Claire, Chin, Moe, Bataar, and a few other interesting characters? It was good to see what happens to the old enemies [Vince & Jake] that was out to get Kimani. When all is said and done, will Ben be able to claim Kimani? To get what all has gone on, I would suggest you read all of the whole series to get all of your questions answered from this hot erotic romance story.

This author does a good job of developing the characters to describe feelings that attract these two people. Is this something that will last? Will Kimani get the information she needs to shut down 'Scarlet Auction?' Picking up this series, you will get more information about these billionaires, and it will only leave you wanting more in the next series.

My Speculation:

"His To Buy" was the first series in 'Lee Family Billionaire Book 1' that featured Kiamani Taylor and Benjamin [Ben] Lee. We find that Kiamani, a journalist who becomes involved with the Scarlet Auction, is [working uncover] investigating a sex trafficking ring. Kiamani was trying to land a job with the San Francisco Tribune. She has a roommate, Marissa that became involved with these people in this Scarlet Auction, and it didn't turn out well for her. I would say that Lee was Kiamani's savior from what could have happened to her if he hadn't bought her from that creep that had brought her earlier from that auction. Be prepared for a dark erotic/erotica romance with some defined characters, especially this group of men: Ben, Jason, Jake, and Derek plus four gorgeous women [Kiamani, Claire, Ryan & Lisa] that were virgins or non-virgins that give us quite an 'intriguing storyline with twists, sizzling chemistry, and ending in a cliffhanger.' Will Ben be able to find out what is going on with Kiamani [Montana] as she hopes to get the information she needs investigating this sex trafficking ring? I see we will have to continue reading this series to find out more about what is going on.

My Speculation:

It was wonderful seeing Soraya and Adonis come together so well in "Suddenly."  It may not have been a smooth ride, but Adonis was finally able to find someone that loved him and not just his money.  I felt sorry somewhat for Adonis's mother, who thought she could control him, especially after what she had gone throw herself.  But I guess some people have to learn the hard way.  It was good seeing from Adonis's previous intentions for dating Sorayor weren't honorable at the start; however, will things changed after he got to know her? I will say the story was somewhat predictable, but still an enjoyable one.    Would I recommend "Suddenly? " Yes, if you are in for a good romantic read.

"Cautiously" by S. Shanee Byers

My Speculation:  

'Cautiously' will leave you feeling somewhat sorry for Nadia in how she grow up without a loving mom.  That presented issues for her in dealing with her life, especially when it came to men in how she treated them.  Even though Nadia had a loving father, sister, brother, and best friend, will she be able to see that she needed some help [therapy] in her situation, especially when it came to her mom and her dealing with men?  I am not saying that the guy she was going to marry, taking abuse from him during their sex time, was OK because it was not!  

It wasn't until Nadia met Marcel that she began to get the support that she needed because one could see how he was there for her through the thick and thin of it all.  It was good to see how the author brings the group therapy sessions in with her family; that was greatly needed with that mother.   And in the end, all seemed to work out 'Cautiously.'

My Speculation:  

"Blood Testimony" is one of those reads that will keep your attention all the way to the very end.  So, what is new with Sarah Cross?  Yes, she is still threatening but from her own home front?  And will she be in a case where we find her working with a certain detective [Lee] that she is attracted to?  Well, open up and start reading from this well-written story by an author that knows how to give it to their reader.

Be ready for a thriller read from: not only 'danger but drama, suspense, intrigue, action, bravery, justice, mystery, suspense, kidnapping, good ole boys club, with twists and turns' all over the place.  The characters are so we defined and well developed that keeps the story's plot upfront, descriptive, and well-centered.  

Would I recommend this novel?  Yes, but I would suggest you read the first series: 'Blood Trail' so you will be up to what has gone on earlier with this main character before reading this one.

 Was this a good start to this series: Sarah Cross 'Legal Thriller Book One in Blood Trial?'  Yes, this was a thriller that will keep you turning the pages for more, as this story will hold your attention!  Sarah Cross, a Federal Prosecutor, was one not to be played with as she teams up with Detective Lee Black in one 'mind-blowing murder case.' Sarah had a lot to deal with as her past that comes back to haunt her; she is also an alcoholic and having marriage problems didn't help.  Be ready for a little bit of it all from: 'lead strong female, mystery, thriller, intrigue, suspense, love, hate, evil, compassion, guilt, twists and turns, along with a heck of a courtroom drama.' The author presented the reader with some well-developed characters in this well-written story.  This Legal Thriller will definitely have you looking forward to the next book in the series.

"Ascension" by J. Haney & S. I. Hayes

My Speculation:  

"Ascension" was a wonderful epic fantasy that will keep you turning the pages to see what was coming next for Maya, Zane, and Valaria. 

Will Princess Maya Meleke be able to 'one-day unite the Normal and Paranormal realm after the assassination of her father and her mother's suicide?'  It will be quite a long trip with the help of Maya's Officer Zane and one of her young affections, Valaria Cosumos.  In 'Ascension,' be prepared for a reading with lots of action where the reader will see what all Maya had to go through to get to her throne.  With Maya being thrown into a situation caused by a relative, will she be able to make it out unscathed? Will she get any help from Zane and Valaria? To get all of these questions answered and much more, you will have to pick up the first series 'Royals of Aeterna Book 1' to see how these authors bring it out to the reader.  However, in the end, the reader will have to wait for the next series to get more answers about will Maya finally gets to her throne?

"Sinful Affair" by J. Brinkley

My Speculation:

I enjoyed the 'Sinful Affair' that featured Kiera and Elijah. Since high school, these two had been together, marrying in college and doing quite well for one another until a disappointment was made with betrayals that seemed to break them apart. It seems that Kiera was not willing to forgive. However, it seems like when she gets in the same disappointment that was on her plate, and we find her doing the same as what had happened with Elijah. What will happen as she faces what she had done in her own marriage? Will Kiera and Elijah be able to move forward, or will this be the end of their marriage? To find out, you will have to pick up the "Sinful Affair' to see how well this author will bring it all out to the reader.

My Speculation:

The reader will have to keep turning the pages because 'Boss'd Up With A Billionaire 3' is full of action alone with its drama. It was definitely a good read of how well this author summed up this finale. It seems like every one of the characters got just what they deserved in one way or another [Chaos, Monte, Terror, Zariah, Abner, Noble & Yvonne, Antonio, and Sami & Tesha]. Get the whole series for one good read!
