My Thoughts....

Now this third series of this author's 'My Son's Next Wife' was another quite interesting read that will keep your attention till the end.  Dramatic...yes! All the way through this story. I will say that Stile's second wife, Detria was a piece of work...and left me shaking my head... and saying really!  Will Pastor Stiles ever see his wife for what she is?  Not only is it good to think before one acts but that communication is so very important in a marriage and that nobody is perfect but GOD!  I hope the reader reads this series in order so you will better understand all that is going on.  This read was very 'heart wrenching.' Now, on to the next series... 'My Sister, My Momma, Your Wife.'

Always, Now and Forever Loves Hurts By: Sheila E. Lipsey

Book Description...

"From verbal insults to physical abuse, wealthy and successful novelist Clarye Dawson had tasted a little bit of all that life had to offer, except true unconditional love. When she laid eyes on the handsome, charming and equally wealthy business owner, Gavin Elliston, she had no idea that her life, despite her physical disability, was about to take on a drastic change, and would never be the same."

"Always, Now and Forever Love Hurts" by Sheila E. Lipsey

My Thoughts....

My, my, my what a emotional dramatic read this author gives to the reader.  I will say this was one of those reads that had me on pins and needles all the way through it.  At times I didn't know whether to feel sorry for the heroine [Clarye] or not because at time she seemed so lost and would not listen to anyone that was trying to help her I did find it quite interesting that even though she had polio that didn't seem to be her main problem with the men who came into her life.  That physical abuse that she received from her boyfriends to husbands was simply off the chart horrible. YES, you can say that  Clarye really knew what real PAIN was but in all of that will she find someone to love her?  What really troubled me about this novel is that many women are really living through such 'violent experiences'  and often it isn't dealt with the correct way, staying just hoping it will get better.   I was so happy when Gavin came into her life. Now, I will say to really get all of this story you will have to pick up this novel and see how well this author presents it to the readers.  It will definitely be one of those reads that you will think about long after the read.  I will say this was a hard read even causing me to tear up at times and still this novel was  well written by this author as she gives a well developed and oh so believable read that it will keep your attention to the end.

"Beautiful Ugly" by Sheila E. Lipsey [Bell]

My Thoughts...

This was quite a interesting well written story about three friends...Envy, Layla and Kacie.  Each one of these ladies have a different story that was well told in their own unique way.  One of these ladies let's say had a lots of 'bedtime friends, another one with a wonderful voice but suffered from self esteem issues and a little on the heavy side and the last one who was born with cerebral palsy however, that didn't stop her...she had six children with another one on the way with no hubby!   All three friends were battling some insecurities in one way or another.   These three ladies argued and fussed a lot however they were always their for each other when the time was needed.  This read was rather entertaining, as well as engaging being so full of its drama and twist and turns.  I liked the Christian aspect of the read which was well done by this author. If you are looking for a story full about 'friendship, family drama and secrets then you have come to the right place.  Why was it that it seems like every time these friends would get together or even  talk on the phone  they often got into such heated arguments?  Was it because they did not seem to know the meaning of true love?  However, Envy, Layla and Kacie always seemed to stick together in the good times and also the bad times.  That was one of the reasons I loved about the novel.

The other characters in this story really helped make this read so very interesting...from Nikkei, Leonard, Deacon, Mrs. Rawlings and Dennis to name a few.   To get the rest of this wonderfully believable told story you will have to pick up book 2 'True Beauty' to see what happens next for Layla, Kacie and Envy.

"Golden" by Charmaine Galloway was truly a very amazing read that is truly a heart warming read.
Once you start it you will not be  able top stop reading this read until the very end.  You will only be left saying Wow what a read!    We find this young woman (Golden) is truly a 'survivor' and from childhood until now and  you can see that  God had been with her through it all.  This story was truly one emotional rollercoaster ride.  Now that she is an  adult being able to look back and see where Golden has come from being able to keep secrets that had held in  all of her life was truly something to ponder on.   You will find from the read that Golden is definitely  a 'survivor.'  Will these secrets Golden has held to for so long keep her from the love of  Marquis Jones?  Will Golden be able to forgive her birth mother and the demons that she has held on to her all of these years?  The author did a wonderful job at a presenting this young lady's life and struggles letting us see how through all that went on with Golden and how through the power of God's love that in the end ....well this is where I will say you must pick up the excellent read to see for yourself.  It was truly a amazing well written  read that will leave you with such a positive message from above.  "Golden" was truly a wonderful read that I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a good read because in the end it was 'her pain, her secrets and her story' that was so well delivered  to us by this author.
