What I enjoyed from the read....

This was a enjoyable novel that will definitely put you in the holiday spirit.  I liked how this author was able to give a read such a interesting read about Luke Granger and Philamena Booth.  The story will keep you reading once you start  because there will be so much going on  with all the twist and turns that it all will keep your attention to the end.  This author did a wonderful job in presenting to the reader this town of Hardman, Oregon in the 1890's with all of its conveniences  that were there even at that time.  The settings and descriptions were very well done making it seem as if you were actually there.  Will this marriage of convenience work for these two?  Well, this is where I say you must pick up the good read and see for yourself.  All I can say is that I felt this was a enjoyable sweet historical western romance that I would recommend to you.

This was one of those fun reads that will have you laughing so hard pretty near all the way through the read. "What Happens At Christmas"  was rather a long read, however, it was one read that you will find it hard to put down definitely being of a read of second chances for not only Camille and Grayson, Beryl and her husband but also the twins parents and sister. What will happen when Camille's long lost love...Grayson comes back into the picture after eleven years?   This author really knows how to present a storyline that will keep you on the edge of your seat turning the pages until the end as we are given a setting with the lives of the characters....all of them  even the actor...to the events that will give one twist and turns in this unfolding chaotic story.  Will this family be able to forge through their past and find forgiveness and be able to move on to a future?  This is where you will have to read it to see how this author will give it to the reader.  "What Happens at Christmas" will be definitely one of those festive reads where some things aren't what they may seem to be.  Be ready for a good story of loss love, drama and yes even deception.  Would I recommend "What Happens at Christmas?"  YES!

What I liked about this novel....

This was really a heart warming romantic story about a children's author who loves the Christmas holiday meets her next door neighbor who is a widower with two son.  The only thing that was odd was that the widower (Cole)was not a happy person.  Why was this?  What was so neat about this read was that Cole's boys loved  the author's(Annie's) books.  To add to this story their was also a brother in law that didn't care for Annie.  Will this present problems for these two neighbors?  Well, this is the time that I will say you must pick up this good read to see how this author will bring it all out to the reader.  It will be quite a captivating well written novella with some steamy love scenes.

The house, famous for its lavish art collection and elegant salons, is mysteriously closed up. Although her grandmother insists it’s dangerous for Sandrine to visit, she defies her and meets Julien Duplessi, a mesmerizing young architect. Together they explore the hidden night world of Paris, the forbidden occult underground and Sandrine’s deepest desires.

Among the bohemians and the demi-monde, Sandrine discovers her erotic nature as a lover and painter. Then darker influences threaten—her cold and cruel husband is tracking her down and something sinister is taking hold, changing Sandrine, altering her. She’s become possessed by La Lune: A witch, a legend, and a sixteenth-century courtesan, who opens up her life to a darkness that may become a gift or a curse.

This is Sandrine’s “wild night of the soul,” her odyssey in the magnificent city of Paris, of art, love, and witchery."

What I liked about this novel....

This  was the first time I have read this kind of read and it was fascinating due to all the twist and turns to the end. I was able to see from the read that if you are a romantic, love magic and throw in some witchery then this novel would be of interest to you.  Running from a abusive husband after the death of her father Sandrine Verlaine  goes to her grandmother's mansion in Paris, however she is told by her grandmother who is one of the 'great, grand horizon tales' (courtesans) to leave Paris.  Sandrine begins  to search for answers to why her grandmother's house is closed up and she  hooks up with Julien Duplessi and not only does she discover her passion for painting but also her erotic side that she didn't know she had.  There will be a lots that will go on in  this story such as  with all the ghost of her family's 'spirit of the La Lune, the sixteenth century courtesan, which seemed to be awakening  and possibility is possessing Sandrine. Be ready for some intriguing historical details  along with some erotic scenes.  With all of this going on Sandrine abusive husband comes back into the picture as we see if Sandrine changing?  .  This author really gives the reader a interesting suspenseful read of letting us see Sandrine as she seems to open up to her family's past.  Now, to truly understand it all you will have to pick up "The Witch of Painted Sorrows" to see for yourself how this will come out.   In the end will Sandrine be able to rid herself of all of this magic?

When the hot sex that results from her first lesson cools to icy glares, Aria decides to move in with them and provide more experiential learning. Can Ryan overcome his jealousy of Jamie-s uninhibited response to the delectable goddess? What if he succumbs to his own desires? Only time will tell whether this love triangle with an immortal will ignite or extinguish the dying embers of Jamie and Ryan-s love."

What I liked about this novel....

I thought "Colors of the Night" was a interesting story of how these authors were able to present it so real to the readers. We found this couple was drifting apart...what will happen when Jamie and Ryan are visited by the goddess of love...Aria (the women of the lake)...to let them know..."You have each forgotten how to love."  "You two need help."  And as this story will go...after Ryan starts to believe that Goddess Aria is a real person...she then will began her talent of showing  them how to love.  The story will take off with Aria doing just that...showing Jamie and Ryan how to make love with each other and so much more will come out of all of this.  Now, let me say up front this is a erotic mature read.  If this isn't your kind of read, you should stop right here but if  you want to know more you  will quickly see how Aria begins to let these two know that they must have time and space for making love.  I liked how these authors really put a lots into the script explaining it all  with such good descriptions where there will be no wondering to what it going on with this couple and  even with this  goddess Aria even becomes (hands on) involved at times with these two.  Yes, goddess Aria will be their to demonstrate many of her tired and true methods. I liked how this goddess Aria explained her real name was Amrita which meant a juice or nectar of love... 'a sap that flows through humans.'  Yes, be ready because there will be some hot and steamy love scenes...from water jetted tubs... use of oils, garter belts and stockings, from strawberry jam, vibrators, silver balls,  to name a few.   In the end after this goddess is almost ready to leaves ...how will it be for this couple?  Will Jamie and Ryan be able to "move to new height as  a couple" without goddess Aria being around and learn from this experience with the goddess Aria who taught them so much during her visit?  Now, this is where I will just say you will have to pick up "Colors of the Night" to see for yourself how well these authors bring this amazing read all out to the reader.   It will be a very interesting and captivating read where you will not want to put it down until the end.

So begins a year-long trial as Cassie leaves her sheltered life in rural Scotland to stay with each of her best friends in the most glamorous cities in the world: New York, Paris and London. Exchanging grouse moor and mousy hair for low-carb diets and high-end highlights, Cassie tries on each city for size as she attempts to track down the life she was supposed to have been leading, and with it, the man who was supposed to love her all along."

What I liked about the novel....

This was some real interesting story for Cassie.  There will be a revelation that will come to Cassie after she learns of a affair which involves her husband, best friend...and the child she thought was hers wasn't hers at all.  So, what will she do after learning all of this information?  Cassie decides  to travel to three cities...New York, London and Paris to visit with her friends which are strong and supportive.  What will she find from the visits with her friend?  Will she finally find out just who Cassie is and what she wants to be?   I loved how this author describes each city as if bringing it to life.   Well for Cassie there will be an adventure which will present some highs and lows  and even some grief, however, all of this will help her to really discover just who she is and even who she wants to love.  This journey was beautiful delivered story  to the reader showing such self discovery as Cassie  encounter other cultures on her trips.  The characters are all well defined,  front and center right up their with the heroine with each one having their own  intriguing story.

The author really knows how to give the reader a engaging read that will hold your attention with you not wanting to put down until the very end. Be ready for a good read of friendships, love, joys and sorrows on this adventurous journey.  If you are into a novel of friendships, travel, fashion and romance then you may enjoy  'Christmas at Tiffany's'  where you will find  'self discovery, making good and bad choices and in  the end it will be what will truly defined Cassie.  Would I recommend?  YES!

What I liked about this novel...

I loved this holiday Christmas story, add the Gordon family with  the youngest daughter Felicia was  getting married on Christmas day, along with a cat pet (Rex) and other distractions...  then you will have some interesting story that happens in Nantucket.  This story will even get more intriguing  the mother(Jill) tries to convince her daughter  to change  her mind about the finance and marry an old boyfriend who lives right next door.  Why was Jill trying to do this? Well, this is the time that I will say you must pick up the good read to see for yourself how this author will give you a heartwarming presentation.  Now, what will happen for Felicia and her fiancĂ©, Archie?

Be ready for some real funny humorous adventures, some idiocy of family members  and some best laid plans that go awry in this  hectic pace storyline where there will be many twist and turns.  The characters are all well developed, captivating, well portrayed and believable only to give the reader a very good story with some changes, surprises and yes, acceptance.

"An Island Christmas" is a quick read that once you start reading the reader will find it hard to put down.  This author really know now to give the reader a holiday novel...Christmas on Chestnut street in Nantucket where a lots of things get very hectic but  in the end one unforgettable story.
What I especially liked about this novel was the wonderful Christmas festivities and descriptions that this author gives in the telling of her story on Nantucket Island were wonderful showing the very importance of family, friends and love.  Would I recommend "An Island Christmas?"  YES!

What I liked about this novel......

This was this author's second series...with her first being about Thanksgiving and this one is about Christmas.  This is a standalone read however, to get it all I would suggest your read the first series too.  This heartwarming story was mainly about Jack and Lauren but there was also Lauren's (Hauser) family, her best friend and Jack's aunt and the cat George.  Put them all together and this author gives the reader a well written story that will keep you reading until the end. This love interest that seems to be picking up with Jack and Lauren after he gives her a explanation of his no show at the airport.  How far will this go? Be ready for elf costumes, sibling rivalry and some good food.    The reader will be taken right up to the end and this is where I say that you will have top pick up the good read to see how this author will present it all to the reader.  This author does a good job in giving the  reader a festive romantic Christmas love story.  I loved how Jack gave Lauren a gift each day  portraying  the twelve days of Christmas! It may have been a crazy holiday season for Lauren and Jack but in  the end the reader will be one unforgettable  memorable Christmas holiday with their families.   Would I recommend "How to Bake the Perfect Christmas Cake?"  YES!

What I liked about this novel....

This was a very good holiday romance  about three people to form into a family during this Christmas holiday.  Although Claire Lindell (city girl) was well off ,  but sad after something had happened   and with no  happy memories when it came to the Christmas  holidays  she decides to spend this holiday in England  at her Godmother's cottage all by herself.  However,  after Claire's  car breaks down and she meets  Noah Bradford  who was a sheep farmer who had a daughter named Molly.  Will things change for them?   This is were this story will take off and this author presents to the reader a awesome emotional well written story where there will be  Christmas magic that these three (Claire, Noah and Molly) will end up spending the Christmas holiday together.  How did this come about?   Will this last after this wonderful holiday?  This is where I say you will have to pick up "A Yorkshire Christmas" to see how this author brings it all out to the reader.  I will say it was  captivating seeing Claire and Noah open up to each other. Wow!

I liked the presentation of the characters  who were so well developed, real and believable.  This is definitely one of those quick reads that has lots of love and  imagination  that will put a smile on your face in this wonderful Christmas love.

What I liked about this novel.....

This was a wonderful captivating  Christmas story that  was second in this author's series that I really enjoyed reading,   The way this author was able to bring out Magnolia Bay's  history along  with its Christmas traditions was really very interesting read.  "Just In Time For Christmas"  was a very entertaining story that had a lots of humor that greatly added to the story.  What will happen when these two main characters Miranda and Logan have to work together in the Christmas Cotillion fundraising project? There seems to have been  a love hate relationship between these two since childhood.  Why was this?  Well, you will have to pick up the good read to see how this author will bring it all out to the reader.  Was Logan now  having feeling for Miranda after all of this time?  Will Christmas bring these two together?   I liked how this author was able to give the reader one amazing read with such heartwarming and entertaining characters that you will not want to put the novel down until you are finished seeing how maybe fairy tales could come true?   All that is left to say is after reading this novel you will want to visit  Magnolia Bay at Christmas time.

What  I liked about this novel....

This was a beautiful series that I have enjoyed reading by these two authors.  There will be a lots happening in this series.  From  Hannah  learning of her father...then her boyfriend  Cade is offered a international job far away....will he leave Philly?   And now we have from this read three Christmas parties.   I will say to truly  understand it all you must read the first two novels before reading this one, so I wouldn't recommend this one for a standalone read.  These authors have really worked their magic in giving the reader a good read of "Three Christmases" of  how Cade will make this holiday into a very special occasion for the both of them.  This has been some journey with Cade and Hannah realizing finally that being together was more important than their careers.  I thought these authors did a wonderful job with this well written story with this long distance relationship that wasn't a smooth ride as was showed in each on the main  characters POV.  With "Three Christmases" the reader with get some very good lovable characters, a real  entertaining  and real story that will be filled with wit and humor.  Would I recommend this series?  YES!

What I like about this novel:

This story was one of second chances.  We find that after a year and a half Christina packs up after her thirtieth birthday and ten years of marriage  and heads back to her home to her parents in Mariette Montana to spend the Christmas holiday.  Christina believes her ten year of marriage is over.   But unknowing to her  Dare(her husband) will follow her and try to win her back during this Christmas holiday. Will there be magic for this couple during this Christmas time?  Will this happen for this couple who have had so many highs and lows in their dysfunctional marriage. It seems like these two are opposites of each other. I liked how this author brings this all out for the reader showing how Christina and Dare's POV through confrontations they had  with each other.  What was so good was seeing them in this healing process at the end.  I will say this isn't just  a romance with a happy ending but one of a healing with forgiveness and much love.  Will this Christmas miracle happen for this couple?  This is were I will say you will have to pick up the good read to see for yourself how well this author brings it all out.  I would recommend this novel to you as a good read.

Book Description:
"Single mother Sabrina Gervais has built a happy life with her daughter Charlotte in their eastern Long Island hometown of Holly Point. Having Charlie meant putting some of her own dreams on hold, but Sabrina is content to surround herself with family and friends, safe from the realities of the outside world. She had enough of that when the man she loved broke her heart.

Jake Killen’s career in professional hockey has brought him many rewards on and off the ice, but returning to New York brings back a flood of memories. When he sees Sabrina again, he discovers that he didn’t just run away from her ten years ago, but also from their unborn child.

Struggling with anger, guilt, and chemistry that’s off the chart, Sabrina and Jake wonder if they can find love again and, this Christmas, make all their wishes come true."

What I liked about the read....

This was a beautiful told romantic novella that is the first in this series.  A love affair that had been broken up and from it a child was conceived.  This situation had been kept  a secret until ten years later after Jake comes back into play and he learns of the daughter, Charlie.  Will these two Bree and Jake be able to reunite after all this passing time?  Even though Bree still loved Jake will she be able to trust him and accept him back into her life?  This will definitely be one of those stories of second chances.  This author really gives the reader a very good sweet story of this second chance at love along with a beautiful description and setting  of the snow, likable characters  in this Christmas story. "This Christmas" is one of second chances in learning to forgive, rekindling of lost loves and then building a relationship with a daughter.  I thought this was well written by this author and would definitely recommend it to you.

What I liked about this novel....

These were three great Christmas stories that intertwined, however I found these stories centered around the holiday season and a wedding. I liked how the three stories  are about three friends who are in town for a wedding.  The reader will be presented with three anthologies ...Love Me, Cowboy by Terri Osburn featuring Claire and Tyler...then we move on to Kiss Me, Cowboy by Liz Talley featuring Georgia and Reed and last we have Marry Me, Cowboy by Kim Law featuring Mary Catherine and Jax.  I found all three of these stories quite interesting in how these authors were able to give the reader such stories with humor and drama  that complimented each other as they worked together in their collaboration between the reads.  It was great how all three stories in the end interlocked and the reader is given a totally complete novel by these three amazing authors.  And most of all what I liked was that the reader will get a happy ending!  Opps, maybe  I wasn't supposed to tell you that!  But I will say this is one fantastic anthology to read  about some sexy cowboys and  yes I would definitely recommend this novel to you.
