"The F Student" by Xyla Turner

My Rationalization:

I enjoyed reading "The F Student" which featured Cash and Trudy.  This was definitely a page-turner to see what was coming next especially for Cash in the particular situation he had been lead to. I can't believe that Simms
lady is still around with all the mess had presented to that university but I guess that situation will be addressed more in other series.  I was glad to see what was happening for Cash.  Truly he deserved something good in his life especially after what had happened with his brother and father.  Thank goodness he had Trudy and his crazy but good friend Shaggy.  It was also good to see that president Matthew was taking charge of this situation that will be played out with the help of the Legion of Guardians help. Now all the readers will have to do is wait for the next series...'D Student' to see more how this story will be played out.

"Portrait of a Serial Killer Jeremiah" by Niki Jilvontae

My Rationalization:

I will say this was a hard read for me in what was going on but I kept reading to see how this 'heartless, manipulative, evil person' could live with himself after all he had done.  I definitely agree Jeremiah was definitely the 'son of satan.'  The story even gets more involved as we see the prosecutor Lundy was so interested in wanting to know what made Jeremiah turn into the horrible person he was.  Why did he want to know so much more about Jeremiah? Was it due to what was going on in his life?  Then we also see Anastasia who had survived quite a horrible deal with Jeremiah and lived to tell about it, however, one could feel she had something up her sleeve that was just waiting to come out for him.

The way the story ends [in a cliffhanger] you can tell that there will be more to come from Jeremiah, Lundy, and Anastasia in this horrific horror story in part two. One thing that was for sure and that was that title: "Portrait of a Serial Killer Jeremiah" was right on the mark for what this story was truly about!

My Thoughts....

Well, this was one of those read that had me shaking my head trying to truly understand the reasoning behind the two man characters...Ty and Monica.  Her father and his best bud was sick [who suffered a stroke] and from that should have had them showing more compassion not only to each other but most definitely to the sick father and friend. I really didn't see hardly any connection with these two characters other than their  sex appeal to each other. Monica had been been asked by her father to come and help his closest friend Ty to come and help renovate a hotel but it seems all she had on her mind was to sell. Now just why was that?  I will say I had trouble liking either one of these two characters and then how this story ended was simply so heart breaking for me.  Oh well, I guess we will have to wait and get the next series...of the Hotel Rodeo in 'Two to Wrangle' to get the next part of this story.

Everything I Left Unsaid By M. O'Keefe

Book Description...

"Perfect for fans of Jodi Ellen Malpas, K. Bromberg, and Joanna Wylde, readers will be unable to resist this haunting, deeply intimate tale of a woman’s journey to freedom and love.

I didn’t think answering someone else’s cellphone would change my life. But the stranger with the low, deep voice on the other end of the line tempted me, awakened my body, set me on fire. He was looking for someone else. Instead he found me.

And I found a hot, secret world where I felt alive for the first time.

His name was Dylan, and, strangely, he made me feel safe. Desired. Compelled. Every dark thing he asked me to do, I did. Without question. I longed to meet him, but we were both keeping secrets. And mine were dangerous. If I took the first step, if I got closer to Dylan—emotionally, physically—then I wouldn’t be hiding anymore. I would be exposed, with nothing left to surrender but the truth. And my truth could hurt us both."

"Everything I Left Unsaid" by M.O'Keefe

What I liked about this novel...

The author gives the reader a very intensed read with showing us what it was to be with and having to run from a horrible abusive husband....cutting and coloring her hair, throwing away her cell and to even camping out in tuck stop to finally making it to a safe place... a trailer park. Only it was in the trailer park Annie hears a phone ringing...and to my surprise..she answers it...and it was someone named  Dylan on the line. As this story will continue the reader will get an very good a romantic suspenseful story that is full of action that will keep you turning the pages as find Annie on the run.   The author did a wonderful job bring out how complexed, tough and a survivor that Annie was as she gets to know a little about Dylan.  One thing for sure as you read "Everything I Left Unsaid" that Dylan  was definitely  like Annie...mysterious with some dark secrets and twists.  What will happen as the phone calls become frequent for these two and becomes a  steamy?  Will this be a 'sexual awakening for Annie who was very inexperienced with the phone calls from Dylan?    Will there be some kind of connection that will be hard for either of these two to understand?  You will find some very interesting mysterious characters ... as neighbors will be connected in some way or another in this story that I will only say you will have to pick up the interesting read to see how well it all will comes out.  Only when you get to that ending for some important answers ....you will be stop because there will be a cliffhanger part 2 that the reader will have to wait to get the rest of the amazing story!

I received a copy through NOR  in exchange for an honest review.
