From my Audible read:

                 Intriguing Story!

I found "Gourmet' an interesting story that got even better as you continued to listen on about this heroine Amillion. There were times I did get a little bored at the beginning of this audible but still continued on listening till the end and I was glad I did. I will say Amillion definitely had me shaking my head and wondering when it would come through to her as she seemed to be on a roller coaster ride going back and forth with her thoughts. Was it about her ex-boyfriend, her weight, her job, her blog, or her true friends and now a new person appears? When the hero Everett came into the picture I was so glad there was someone who seemed to have some sense and good advice for Amillion. Will she take the advice he gives? Well, this is where I will say you will have to get on audible and listen to 'Gourmet' for and see for yourself. I did enjoy hearing from some of the characters from this author's other reads [the Ray series] which tied in so well to this story. Overall, this was a good story. I only wished there had been an epilogue so we would have gotten the rest of the story.

"I'm Fine and Neither Are You" by Camille Pagan

My Rationalization:

I believe this could be a relatable story to anyone that has gone through what Penny had gone through. Now when she was now trying to fix things in her life...with her husband, her friend [Jenny's husband], her career, parenting, which indeed carried over to her family [her father] and even a noisy neighbor. This story touches so well with 'the complications of friendships [which explores addiction and maybe suicide], ups and downs in marriage with Penny being the head provider, a wife, and a mother.' Even though I found this novel heartbreaking it was still heartwarming with some touches of humor parts that will keep your interest by turning the pages to see what was going on next.

A question that will be answered...would Penny be able to fix all of these things that were so important to her now after the death of her best friend Jenny? I thought this was a very thought-provoking read that will give you pause at the end to even evaluate ones their own life story especially if your story is similar to this one. I enjoy reading how this author was able to explore the 'dynamics of relationships between lovers, friends and parent's child.' By the end of this novel, one can see the courage that Penny presented in resolving past issues to present on to second chances that seemed to set her life for the future with more happiness. If you are looking for a story that is very engaging you have come to the right place for "I'm Fine and Neither Are You" will leave you with a different perspective of 'life, family and even love.'

All of these reads are so very intriguing anthologies that will only leave you wanting more of the story and this is where I had a problem with most of these stories because I was left wanting more of the story!

Starting with each author...where I presented each one in question form. To get the answers you will have to pick up "Seduction Temptation" to get the rest of the story by the Author.

"Flesh of Innocents" by J. A. Dennam

My Rationalization:

This was one interesting read "Flesh of Innocent' where Olivia Rose was on one mission and that was to 'save the lives of four small children who have been chosen as sacrifices for an ancient ritual.' However, it seeking out to save the fourth child Olivia will run into her horrible sister who will present trouble for her. Along with this the child's father Eddie Garrett will be brought into play as he will be accused of kidnapping and 'then Olivia will claim that the Native American Tribe has painted a target on his daughter.' This story will get to be very intense because for a minute Eddie didn't know whether to believe all that Olivia was claiming to whether this was true or not. This is definitely a story 'that not everything is what it seems and certainly when in the wrong hands, the past can be much scarier than an uncertain future.' I will say this is one of those reads you will have to pick up and see how well this author gives the reader that will keep your attention turning the pages to see what was coming next.

My Rationalization...

This was a good second chance read of where love did triumph in the end as it was for Francine [Frankie] Waters and Jackson Knight. Yes, there may be some heartache for a while but some dreams could change as it did for Frankie. I realized that her father only did what he thought was best at that time, but where there's time for healing, forgiveness and there is also room for second chances as it was for these two. If you are looking for a good heartwarming read you have come to the right place for "Love Taps" will give it all to you.

"O'Shay & Sanaa" by J. Brinkley

My Rationalization:

I will say this was quite some read because I thought this was about a true romance of O'shay and Sanaa. However, what started out as a sweet romance didn't end up quite that way. I think the first clue was when Sanaa's father had questions about O'shay and his father who was in prison. I am sure there may have been other clues to what was really going on with O'shay but this author did a good job with hiding them. I did find it somewhat interesting that he [O'shay] didn't want to talk about his father even to Sanaa. Yes, there 'happiness and fulfillment were definitely been replace by grief and bitterness.' Was this a marriage of "Love, Lust or Obsession" well definitely not love because true love doesn't act like this! Definitely, something was going on with O'shay because by the end of this story it was evident that he needed help. We are left with a cliffhanger wondering will Sanaa be OK. So, until then we will have to wait and see if the craziness of O'shay will be revealed to why he acted so horribly to Sanaa whom she was supposed to be the love of his life.

I enjoyed this part 2 of 'Grace's Revelation' that continued storyline that dealt with Mase and Grace's story that also included their son Cason. The story will definitely keep your attention as the story is 'filled with lots of drama, emotions, betrayal, danger, sexy chemistry scenes, twist, and turns, revenge, and suspense.' This is definitely one of those reads that will leave you wanting more especially as to what has happened to Papa Scott.

My Rationalization:

I will say that this was a good, humorous, and loving read about Rebel and Logan. I loved how they met and all the drama that finally these two were able to see eye for an eye. I will say that Rebel did get on my nerves quite a bit being so stubborn in the read but I believe by the end she was able to understand what her new friends were trying to explain to her about Logan's ex. It was nice seeing that Logan had finally found someone perfect just for him.

My Rationalization:

This was quite a ride with Elias coming back after being gone for ten years and it seems he came back due to Starla's request. Now it looks like Elias's father is out of prison and back to his old way of doing things where problems arrive with Starla's family members start coming up missing. Now be ready for some twist and turns that will only have you shaking your head and saying what while you will be left turning the pages to see what was coming next. And in the end, you may still be left at wondering where have these people [Tangie] been hiding after all of this time and who else had shot Luther. So, you will have to pick up this next Lady Guardian series to find out how what and why for the remainder of this story. Hopefully, we will get lots of unanswered questions answered.

This interracial romance also includes a paranormal realm, and as before, some elements are outlandish, farfetched, dark.

My Rationalization:

The main thing I can say about "Black Queen, Dark Knight II" was that it was one heck of a good BWWM romantic Suspenseful paranormal well-written read. I will say you will need to read this author's first series "Black Queen Dark Knight" to really understand what all is going on in this series. This story will take you through a little bit of it all from someone wanting to take Mikayla's crown on to lots of steamy hot sex and with some very shady characters but in the end it will be an interesting run in how these two [Mikayla and Jagger] are finally drawn back together in a happy place. And yes it will be good to see what this author has in store for us in the next series that features Trick and his ballerina Denise.

It seems like we are in for another episode: 'The Grace Is Never Greener: From Memphghainstan to Hell' to see what else will come out of this story!

"Me For You" by Lolly Winston

My Rationalization.....

I found "Me For You" a pleasant read giving the reader some 'pleasure moments, funny, sad and by the end very relatable.' The two main characters gave this story some substance that will carry one through till the end where we find Rudy a fifty-four-year-old man who was struggling to move on after the death of his wife Bethany. Having had such a wonderful marriage just how will Rudy be able to move forward? After finding out from a detective Jensen who was looking into his wife's death as a murder...what will come of that? What will happen as Rudy was starting a relationship with Sasha where he worked as a pianist at Nordstrom? However, after a while, Rudy seemed lost and his daughter CeCe gets him into the hospital for some help which turns out he was suffering from a major depressive disorder. After being there for a while it looks like Ruby is improving. What will happen as Sasha shares her dark pass with Rudy? Will this be two people with 'broken hearts trying to figure out how to let go of their past and be truly happy together?' To get all of these questions answered and much more you will have to pick up this good read to see how this author brings it all out for the reader. In the end, this author "delivers a heartfelt and realistic portrait of loss and grief, hope, forgiveness, and two imperfect people coming together to create a perfect love story."

My Rationalization:

What will happen for Annie Lamb when she 'fears that her husband is a killer?' What had seemed to be a perfect marriage will take quite a turn for Annie [who was a history professor] and Ben [who was a psychiatrist] as her nightmares start that will connect somehow to her husband's first wife, Susannah who died. When Annie connected with Susannah's former friend who was a detective [Connor Payne] things will really take a turn for her as it seems like there are quite a few 'circumstantial' evidence about Susannah's death but still not enough to catch this sociopath and after all, Susannah's death was to have been a suicide. But was it? With Annie having her daughter [Emma] living in the house with this husband it was really something for her to be able to see how 'controlling and patronizing' Ben had become toward her at times. What will happen when 'Ben's controlling collides with Annie's obsession to discover the truth of what really is going on?' It was quite a story of Annie wanting to stay till the end due to the fact she didn't want to lose her daughter. This is where I say you will have to pick up this well-written story "Into The Dark" to see how this 'cat - and - mouse terror' to find out because it will really be a very twisted story of a very sociopathic sick person.

"Keeping Up With The Jackson's Caught In Traffic" by Cornelia Smith

My Rationalization:

After reading this author's first story of Keeping Up With The Jackson...this second novel tied everything up so very well with everything coming out in the end. Now we have Winter has come out of her coma to finds out that her sister Summer is missing. I will say at this point I always did think that Kendrick did have something to do with that situation. It was good finally with Winter seeing that her husband wasn't a good thing for her and it was even good to see that Treasure finally was able to admit her wrong that she had done to her friend. Will these sisters finally be able to make peace with each other? All that is left to say is you will just have to pick up this good read that explains it all so very well. I definitely would suggest you read the first book before reading this one 'Caught in Traffic' so you will get the full understanding to what all has happened because there will be a lots of drama, twist and turns that will have you shaking your head and definitely keeping your attention with all of the spends this story will have before you get to the ending.
