"Forever My Lady" by Stephanie Nicole Norris

My Speculation:

Another excellent 'Lunch Break Series Book 5' of "Forever My Lady" featured Dimitri and Stacey's story that will keep you turning the pages to see what was coming next. It was a beautiful read of how these two reconnects after a long period. What had stopped Dimitri's from pursuing Stacey early on? Well, it looks look Dimitri is letting go of some of his hang-ups that had kept them apart, as it seems like now he is interested in exploring a new relationship with Stacey. Will this work out this time for Dimitri? Pick up this short story and see how it all comes out for these two. It will be an enjoyable read.

Book Excerpt:

"“Kate won’t be back ‘til Monday.”

A roommate. Her boyfriend. An irresistible opportunity.

Terri has always been “the quiet one.” People think she’s shy, but she’s really not. She’s pretty enough, and smart enough, she just hasn’t been particularly … remarkable.

Ian on the other hand is remarkable. He’s also Terri’s roommate Kate’s boyfriend. He notices what others do not. He knows Terri’s not shy, and he’s curious about what else she might be. Kate being away for a long weekend provides the perfect chance for him to find out.

Terri might be into it. A completely unexpected kiss she and Ian shared the week before suggests she will be. Or maybe … she’s just not that kind of girl."

"Not That Kind of Girl" by Nia Forrester

My Speculation:

"Not That Kind of Girl" was an excellent story with leaving the reader with a thought-provoking story. When these two, Ian and Terry, come together, was it right since Ian's girlfriend Kate was Terry's roommate? There will be a dilemma that both will have to work out if this situation is to come out clean. Was it cheating? Well, I will have to let you decide for yourself if they crossed the line. I will say I thought that ending was a bit strange being so abrupt and all. Did Kate know that something was going on with these two while she was away?

Good Love Kindle Edition by Cheryl Robinson

Profile:

"When Sarita Saint starts to have visions of Sharon, her deceased best friend, she’s reminded of the promise she made—that she’d marry Sharon’s husband, Boone, and raise their children together. Sarita never meant to keep that promise. But even from the grave, Sharon is having her say.

Sweet, reliable, patient Boone has always loved Sarita—through every bad relationship she dives into. Now he has a plan to take her away from the painful memories in Detroit to a beautiful horse ranch in Texas that he inherited and run his family’s business.

For both, the move would mean leaving the security of well-paying jobs to embark on a new venture as restaurateurs. For Boone, having the opportunity to develop an even deeper bond with Sarita is worth the risk. For Sarita, Texas could be the perfect escape from her past. But will it lead to love?"

"Good Love" by Cheryl Robinson

My Thoughts...

After reading this author's 'Until Ray Trilogy' which featured Sarita and Boone I was delighted to get some more inside information of these two characters which brought out quite a few things that had gone on in that story. I would highly suggest that one reads that trilogy for more understanding of 'Good Love.'

This was a interesting read in trying to find out what in the world will Sarita Saint do after she had promised her friend Sharon, 'her deceased best friend, that she would marry her husband, Boone and raise their children together.' However, will Sarita be willing to do this as she had promised her friend? I will say that Sarita got on my nerves as she seemed to have had problems deciding what was best her. Why in the world she couldn't see what was right in front of her and that Boone was a good man and a longtime friend.

I could see that Boone really did love Sarita and he would do anything for her. However, will moving to his ranch in Texas and venturing as a restaurateurs be a good move for Sarita and Boone? For the life of me I can't understand why Sarita doesn't seem to get it. I did like how this author brings in Miss King. Yes, Miss King really added quite a bite to this story and I did find some of the information she delivered was quite puzzling as you will see from the read. In the end the question will still be will Sarita and Boone 'develop a deeper bond' not only as in a common law marriage but by getting married and taking his name? The one thing that Boone wanted was to marry her and take care of her because he had been deeply in love with since Sarita was eighteen years old. Will these two be able to get to that 'Good Love that both with cherish for it?' Well, to find out more of how this will end you will have to pick up "Good Love" to see how this story will come out. It will indeed be quite a interesting story hat will keep your attention all the way to the end.

What I liked about this novel....

This was a well delivered intriguing novel of Savannah's search for many unanswered questions of her father's death. "Independently Wealthy" is the sequel to this author first novel of 'New Money' and  I did find some of the characters from  it in this second novel.

It was quite a read of about Savannah who learns about her father after his death along with learning that this Edward Stone had been a billionaire  media mogul leaving her his fortune. However, with learning all of this her father had also left some stipulations in his will and that was that Savannah would have to move from South Carolina to Manhattan, N.Y to work at his new corporation.  Now, why was this?  Well, I liked this idea...because there were two other half siblings involved in all of this.  After arriving in N.Y. Savannah begins to love the idea that she is now rich but also finding herself wanting answers to what had happened surround her father's death,  I liked how she set out to find out the answers of this car accident that had taken her father's life.  I also  liked all of the twist and turns that were brought about from the half  brother Ned and it was interesting seeing them playing detective to solve this mystery as it seems that this did becomes Savannah's obsession. This author present so well this relationship that will come about  as  Savannah, Caroline and Ned will   grow and develop through the read.  It was of great interest to how well Savannah wanted to find justice for the father she had never even met as questions will be answered from the story.

Be ready for a read which will be suspenseful as it goes into some scandalous cases, many enemies come forth, murder, to affairs to a few other issues and  even many surprises will come  from this read. This is definitely one of those reads that you will find hard to put down because there will be so much going the readers attention will easily stay very focused on just what will happen next.  I found this characters were pretty much well developed, engaging, well portrayed and somewhat believable where the author was able to bring out to the reader by the end of the read  just how and why they were the way they were.  This author was definitely able to give the reader enough conflict in all that was going on in this story to keep your interest and making it  seem like it was a real  story that could have happened.

The story settling will start  from South Carolina, on  to  New York and to D.C. where you will find
"Independently Wealthy"was a contemporary read  that was a little long but it was fast paced, realistic, with some humor, drama, mystery, intriguing and even some  romance and in the end I am left saying that  I would I recommend as a enjoyable read.

"Three Christmas" by Kat Bastion and Stone Bastion

Book Description....

"As the holiday season approaches in this fourth book in the No Weddings Series, Cade Michaelson strives to be better at balancing work and love, and Hannah Martin’s growing ability to trust is put to the test. Lust and friendship brought us together, but with the increasing demands of my two businesses, Hannah’s thriving bakery, and our successful event-planning company, stability becomes my focus.

Then a once-in-a-lifetime career opportunity takes me to the West Coast, and everything goes into a tailspin.

Laughter, love, and excitement fill our lives, but Cade refuses to settle into the wonderful bliss we’ve found—he wants spectacular fireworks and an unshakable foundation. Driven like no one I’ve ever met, Cade insists a dream job across the country will be better for our future together, but I worry about whether we can survive the present apart.

When intimate time diminishes…and lives get more hectic…

Will a little bit of faith be all that it takes? Or will the sacrifice to get there be too great?"

What  I liked about this novel....

This was a beautiful series that I have enjoyed reading by these two authors.  There will be a lots happening in this series.  From  Hannah  learning of her father...then her boyfriend  Cade is offered a international job far away....will he leave Philly?   And now we have from this read three Christmas parties.   I will say to truly  understand it all you must read the first two novels before reading this one, so I wouldn't recommend this one for a standalone read.  These authors have really worked their magic in giving the reader a good read of "Three Christmases" of  how Cade will make this holiday into a very special occasion for the both of them.  This has been some journey with Cade and Hannah realizing finally that being together was more important than their careers.  I thought these authors did a wonderful job with this well written story with this long distance relationship that wasn't a smooth ride as was showed in each on the main  characters POV.  With "Three Christmases" the reader with get some very good lovable characters, a real  entertaining  and real story that will be filled with wit and humor.  Would I recommend this series?  YES!

"The Tea Shop on Lavender Lane" by Sheila Roberts

Book Description....

"When it comes to men, sisters don't share!

After a fake food poisoning incident in L.A., Bailey Sterling's dreams of becoming a caterer to the stars collapse faster than a soufflé. Now Bailey's face is in all the gossip rags and her business is in ruins. But the Sterling women close ranks and bring her back to Icicle Falls, where she'll stay with her sister Cecily.

All goes well between the sisters until Bailey comes up with a new business idea—a tea shop on a charming street called Lavender Lane. She's going into partnership with Todd Black, who—it turns out—is the man Cecily's started dating. It looks to Cecily as if there's more than tea brewing in that cute little shop. And she's not pleased.

Wait! Isn't Cecily seeing Luke Goodman? He's a widower with an adorable little girl, and yes, Cecily does care about him. But Todd's the one who sends her zing-o-meter off the charts. So now what? Should you have to choose between your sister and the man you love (or think you love)?"

What I liked about this novel....

I liked this story of sisters.. Samantha, Cecily and Bailey which was of how important this family was as they were  able to come together in the end in the very close community of Icicle Falls.  This author really gives the reader something to think about...not only with the importance of a family but also shows the  part of hopes and dreams  that will come into the mixture to create a successful trade  putting  everything front and center of this storyline.  This will definitely be a story that when you think you have it all figured out this author manages to throw you a twist that will have you shaking your head and saying I didn't see that coming!  Icicle Falls is a small time where it seemed like 'everyone is in everyone else's  business' in this fifth installment of this authors contemporary  romance series.  Be ready for lots of drama... and issues with self esteem especially from one of the sisters, relationships and small town life.   Now,  Bailey returns home to wallow in self pity...then will there be a game of cat and mouse by ..., a love triangle and the partnership?  What is all that all  about with Bailey and Cecily?  I found all of the characters for the most part well developed, colorful, humorous at times, with friendships, realistic and it was so very  believable.  Will these sisters be able to make up and not a anyone come between them?  I will  stop here and say to find out about what all is going on in this storyline you must pick up this read to see for yourself how well written this author presents this detailed description of 'Icicle Falls' story  to the reader.  I found the story will be very intriguing as well as entertaining  that will keep your attention all the way to the happy ending.   Be ready for 'love, laughter, friendship, family living a good life' as this read of 'Icicle Falls' as you are presented another good series.

What else I especially liked about the novel....

At the end of the novel you will be given some useful recipes that sounded good to me.....Lavender Cake & Frosting and the  Lavender Honey definitely giving this novel  a nice addition to this read.

The sexy second book in bestselling author K.A. Linde’s Record series decides whether it’s better to pick up the pieces and move on...or to pick up right where you left off."

What I liked from the novel....

"On the Record" by this author was a  excellent read that will take you on a roller coaster ride.  From the start I found this read coming  from a high note as this author's first series 'Off  the Record'  to this second novel was simply one intriguing read that will hold your attention.  Each page gives you something very important to know on this love chance for survival in politics.  I would suggest that you definitely read this author's first series to truly understand all that  has happened earlier in  the previous novel. The second series hooks right up from the first series.  The characters were all simply off the chart  good being  well developed, defined, well portrayed, colorful, reliable, engaging and believable giving the reader a well written script that was thoroughly a enjoyable read.  I will say at this point you will have to read this author's next series to find out the ending.  From "On the Record" we find that Liz has tried to give up some of her pass (but really... did she) to have a life without the one she really loves  but will she be happy even with her new boyfriend Hayden? Then Liz see 'him' once again  at the colloquium...what will come of this?  What will happen after Liz decides to share a secret?   There will be a lots of  questions that will be answered as you read and find out who, where, how and what all is  or has gone on with Liz, Victoria,  Hayden, Calleigh,  Senator Brady Maxwell, Clay, Savannah and Heather  to only name a few on this ride that  you will be on  up to the end.  Now, I don't want to spoil any of this read but it will be interesting to see how Liz and Brady will come out of this when its all said and done. Be ready for a read with  some angst, love triangle, and a love/hate relationship.   One thing for sure you will be blown away from this good read "On the Record" that I would definitely recommend to you.  Now we will be waiting for this author next series...'For The Record.'
