My Rationalization:

This was a good read of a couple of meetings, both having a child, and having had problems with their exes. This author works her magic in bringing Duchess and Kincaid together as they will be able in the end to solve their issues and from that bonds will be made. The two children were not only sweet but funny. The ex [of Duchess] finally being able to turn his life around and making a heck of a good dad for Aiden. It was truly beautiful in the end how the three parents were able to come together and even be friends where everyone was finally getting along.

My Rationalization:

All that is left to say after reading "Ridin' For A VA Hitta is be ready for 'a rocky ride with Akila, Mari, Dreema, Rio, Tyrone and a few others as they continue to play this dangerous game of drama, love, twist and turns, lies, murder, and betrayal." This is definitely one of those reads that will keep your attention as you will be kept turning the pages to see what was coming next. I will say this well-written story had some very complexed characters that will have you shaking your head and saying 'what in the world is going on.' It will be interesting in what Akila will do next know that she knows just who Tyrone is. This story will be even more interesting in how this whole story will come out as the story continues..."After the tank was filled, I got back into my truck and pulled off. 95N isn't a bad idea, I thought as I exited..."

"The Real Friends of Atlanta" by Cornelia Smith

My Rationalization:

All I can say is that this was quite a read that will definitely keep your attention as you turn the pages to see what was coming next. It was sad to see how Shawn was able to come between Black Chyna and her best friend Treasure. And as this story continues on as Shawn continues on to sleeping with the niece, Destiny. I was totally left speechless at this point. But it seems like karma is coming for Shawn and also for all three of these ladies.

So, by the end, we will find that Chyna's mother Roxanne was right in what she had told her daughter. Now to get the whole story you will have to pick up this story and see how it ends as secrets start coming out. I will say at this point the reader will be left with wanting to know more about what happens to Chyna, Treasure, and Destiny and oh yes, even that Shawn.

"Cruisin" by Celeste Granger

My Rationalization:

This was indeed another enjoyable 'Laby Guardians' read... 'Cruisin' that featured Carmen and Grayson [Turks]. I loved how this author was able to bring them together. We find that Carmen had just learned that her first love was coming back into her life and she didn't want that to happen. Would Carmen be able to trust this new person that had come into her life after what had happened with her first love? It was quite interesting in how everything worked out so well for Carmen and Grayson as he was there for her at a time when it was greatly needed. This is definitely one of those reads that will keep your attention turning the pages to see what was coming next. I loved how the story worked around the Lady Guardians helping out in a time of need. As it was for Carmen will she get the one who had come into her life and had given her new meaning of being able to trust? Well, to find out you will just have to pick up this author's read to find out. It will be a good romantic short story read.

My Rationalization...

Oh, how I loved this conclusion to 'Something New!' 'A Love So New' was a beautiful read that dealt with Lynette and Elijah. Will Lynette be able to believe that Elijah was for her no matter how she had doubt about them? Well, to see how this beautiful romance comes out you will just have to pick up this good read to see if 'Elijah will keep his promise to Lynette?'

I love this short sweet read of Naomi's and Bryce's romantic story. It was great seeing them meeting up again after their split, who was now working on a case during a horrible snow storm. "The Remarkable Housewives of the Bible" by Erin Brown Hollis

My Rationalization.....

I enjoyed the read by this author as she introduced us to Eve, Delilah, Hannah, Martha and Ruth in which we find that they had been given a divine task to carry out. This author delivered her stories to the reader in such a 'conversational and witty way' that will definitely keep your attention to that particular character. I would definitely agree that this novel would be a wonderful choice for any 'group study.' This read is one that is unique and even quite entertaining as one can learn and group from these women's perspective of the Bible. I love how this author's descriptions will even make one feel like there are in 'Bible times having conversations with these delightful women' as each character being drawn it seems to come alive and even is so relatable to us today in our world.

So, if you are looking for an interesting, fun, educating, encouraging, and even touches of humor read you have come to the right place for "The Remarkable Housewives of the Bible" will give it all to you and more.
