"The Union" by Gina Robinson was a wonderful western historical romance novel. This was a rather fast paced read that was suspenseful with some real 'historical events from North Idaho's Silver Valley during the late 1800's. This read was of the old west mining town and a romance 'between an undercover agent who was posing as a mail order husband.'

The read will lead you to some very intriguing and well developed characters as well as some shady ones that will keep your interest until the very end. I found this author to be a very good storyteller of this 'love story' that will also keep you turning the pages to see what was going to happen next in this novel as the secrets to it all comes to out. I enjoyed how this author was able to present the unions and all of the corruption that was involved in it all.

If you are looking for a good read with lots of twist and turns with some surprises you have come to the right place for "The Union" will take you there for a very amazing read.

Review:

"The Perfect Match" by Kristan Higgins was a sweet contemporary romance that has women's fiction and chick lit written all over it. This is a interesting story of Honor Holland who was a middle child from a good family. Honor's family owned the 'Blue Heron Vineyards and she worked and lived on the property with her dog. All was good for Honor...for she was in her mid thirties, had been in love with someone who did not love her....now she yearned for a family of her own.  So, when a this 'British guy' (friend) needed a 'green card' to be able to stay in the US to work and maintain the upkeep of his stepson (Charlie)...will she be willing to help Tom Barlow out my marrying him? Really?  Now, who did she get this information from?...Would you believe from Honor's grandmother!

Now, to really see what is going on you will have to pick up this good read: "The Perfect Match" to see how this author brings it all together.  We find Tom the Englishman very full of humor(with tattoo on his shoulders) that you will find yourself laughing out loud from the read and I will add that he is hot! For Honor... I smiled at the eggs that actually spoke to her. You will find out all about that from the read.   I  enjoyed how the author was able to keep this read a PG romance. Be ready for 'heartbreak, romance and humor.'  We find from the read that Honor had stayed after her mother died to help pick up the pieces and had become the perfect daughter but now she  was wanting something else in her life.  Would there a attraction growing between her and Tom? Will Honor  fall in love with Tom and 'what happens when the man she  loved refuses to believe he has the capacity to love you back?'

There was a very serious side to this novel and that was about the stepson Charlie who Tom so desperately wanted to help.  Why was Charlie so angry and sad?  Truly Tom loves the boy.  I found the characters all so interesting as well as captivating with some of their craziness and dramatic moments that will have you laughing at from it all.

If you are looking for a sweet romance of a 'tight knit family' you have come to the right place for this author bring it all to the reader and I would recommend "The Perfect Match" as a good read.

"One Week Girlfriend" by Monica Murphy was a good story of 'love and empathy' for Drew and Fable who sought to 'be whole and loved.'  Truly this author brought to the reader some 'sick stuff' in dealing with these two people.  You can definitely see from the read how the  author was able to let us see what all Fable had suffered through and in doing this it gave her empathy that she needed in dealing with Drew.  You are even able to see some of the healing as you read through the read.  I found the read very believable being full of tension and so much emotions that I could not put "One Week Girlfriend' down until the end.  From the read you will find that spending the weekend together there will be many things 'from each others past that will be brought to light.'
Will they be able to get together....or will they think they are not good enough for each other?  Well, this is the time that I say you must pick up this good read to see how Part I will lead us and Yes, there will be a Part II (Second Chance Boyfriend).  I did enjoy "One Week Girlfriend" and if you are in for a good  amazing read I would recommend this one to you.

"Counterfeit Cowboy" by Gail MacMillan was a wonderful western that will leave you with a smile on your face. This novel was definitely one that you will want to keep reading till the end. The heroine Shelby and hero Jordan were really in for some adventurous ride. Shelby was a vet and ran a 'horse training ranch.' Jordan was a good man who was a musician, loved to sing country western, loved life and caring for others. Jordan was considered a 'country western singer'...but was he really? He worn western attire.... sung country songs but didn't know a thing about horse riding and driving cattle. So when Shelby was asked to teach him to ride...she said that he was just a (fake) 'Counterfeit Cowboy' and didn't want to be bothered with him. However, Shelby later changed her mind due to the fact that finances on her ranch was rather tight. Why was this? What had happen? To get all that is happening in this good read you will have to pick up "Counterfeit Cowboy" to see for yourself how this story will end. The characters were all well developed and so very colorful only helping to give this read that well written entertaining touch. In the end you will find this novel a 'sweet' one that that deals with the western romance that will in the end find yourself smiling at a good read.

"Cowboy Heat" by Sable Hunter was the first in the series:  Hell Yeah and I really enjoyed and stayed entertained until the very end.   Definitely the hero Aron McCoy and Libby Fontaine really made this read quite interesting.  Yes, it was erotic and good read and me being a cowboy lover I really liked the premise of the read. Yes, I liked how this hero treated the heroine... with all the 'pet names' that Aron made up for her.  I thought it was rather cute.  This author did a wonderful job at 'showing the  playfulness and sexiness between these two people.'  The description of this Tebow Ranch was simply off the charts...good and let's not leave out those 'McCoy men' who were all sweet and hot.

"Cowboy Heat" was full of emotions all the way through this novel causing you to really 'ache' for several of the characters.  The characters I found were all simply well developed and so very colorful and only will keep you turning the pages till the end.

So, if you are looking for a defiantly erotica read with steamy sex scenes...you have come to the right place for "Cowboy Heat" will be a read for you to enjoy.

"A Woman's Worth" by Chicki Brown contemporary women's fiction that will keep you turning the pages until the end. This author did a wonderful job with "A Woman's Worth" in bringing to the reader a well written script in this first series. In this read there are two main characters Gianne Marvray and Marc Stafford. Gianne who had been a 'school media specialist,' had been ill with the battle of cancer and now her health was looking so much better in that she wanted to 'see new places, meet new people and experience new things...however, she never knew that meeting the Stafford family and especially Marc would be a life change for her. Marc was a 'Las Vegas personal trainer and raw vegan food advocate' which as a good thing for him however, his father Dr. Victor Stafford Sr. did not like his career choice...saying it was 'a ridiculous waste of his son's life.' Now after four years, we find Marc on his way home to visit his family which included his five brothers. Three of his brothers were also doctors. Would this be a good visit for him or would it be a battle to keep his calm with his father? This visit had been for his brother Vic who was celebrating his promotion to 'Chief of Surgery.' Little did Marc know at this time that Gianne, his father and brother Vic's patient had been invited to this celebration too. Why did Dr. Stafford invite her to this family gathering? Now, to find this out and all the rest of it all you must pick up "A Woman's Worth" to see what all this author has in store for these two people. With Marc being a twin it is very interesting to see how the brothers got alone and which one that didn't. Will Gianne be impressed after meeting Marc? Will she want his style of life...being a vegan...What all will she get out of this...good health and love?

Be ready for a lots to go on in this well written novel and I don't want to give too much away but since this is a series... be ready for the story to continue. The characters were all well portrayed, strong and well developed giving this novel a real amazing appeal especially those hot blooded 'Stafford Brothers.' I enjoyed this novel and can't hardly wait for next series dealing with those brothers.

"The Christmas Cookie Collection" by Lori Wilde was truly four beautifully written stories that all had the 'Christmas Theme.'

Story one was of Carrie Mac Gregor ...
The story starts with Carrie displaying that she hated Christmas.  In Twilight, Texas Carrie owned the Yarn Burn store and its was close to Thanksgiving.  What will her life take on as the knitting club ('gossipy knitters') would be in her shop soon.  Did they have something in mind for dear Carrie during this holiday?  Who was Mark Leland who was returning to the town to take own a 'Fact or Fiction myth buster show(Reality Show?)' Once they had been so "smitten enough to run off to Vegas...but it was one dumb weekend out of their life."   What had they once meant to each other?  Was there any truth to the 'legend of Jon Grant and Rebekka Nash? Who ever thought that 'Twilight's sweetheart legend...if you throw a penny into the fountain and which for it you'll be reunited with your HS sweetheart.  Did Carrie still have a attraction for Mark?  This novella  was a good romantic story that you will have to pick up to see what will happen between Carrie and Mark.  In the end will Carrie love Christmas?  Check out this read to find out.

Story two was of Raylene Pringle who had once been a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader...now  owed the Horny Toad Bar(country and western bar). Once married to Earl, but he "found out about something in her past that she neglected to tell him and so...he left on Christmas eve."  What was this secret that Earl had discovered after thirty-five years?  Raylene had lied to Earl about money she had received ... they had wed and now it seemed  like  there marriage was over because he was gone. Now it seemed like Raylene 'was in limbo, waiting for the love of her life to return.'     Raylene needed to go on with her life because she wasn't taking care of herself...'she made no decisions'  and her business was not being taken care of properly because she was trying to do it all by herself.  Yes, she needed help.  However, their was Nate Deavers who was from the 'war Seal' who had become friends with Raylene and offered to hang her Christmas decorations for her. Was divorce in Raylene future?  So, she thought maybe with  the Christmas holiday coming she needed a plan of action...'forward motion.'  As the read continues  Shannon Dugan shows up at the 'Horny Toad Tavern.'  Who was Shannon? What secrets did she have?  Now, to get the rest of the good novella you will have to pick up this read. Be ready for  mystery and secrets and even some 'steamy sex scenes' that  will be revealed in the  interesting read.

Story  three was of Christine Noble was the owner of the town's local Twilight Bakery and she had created a special cookie from her own creation as she had done many times during this time of Christmas.  It was "the right combination of chewy crispness...And pretty darn tasty."  With all of this was she happy?
Christine was spending the holidays without her parents due to the fact they were visiting her brother and his family in Europe.  Christine had stay behind due to a wedding cake she had to prepare for a 'Christmas Eve Wedding.'  Her cat 'Cocoa had just died and lastly she had received some bad news from her specialist. What was this?...You will have to find out by picking up this wonderful read. So, we find Christine was putting everything into her bakery to take her mind off of the troubling things that surrounded her life. Thank God for her friends that came  into her shop to help cheer Christine up.  Would this be enough to keep her from feeling sorry for herself?  Had Christine suffered...due to accident he had a permanent limp...giving up one thing she loved most....and now...life just seemed so unfair.

Eli Borden, a widower, with four children from Jubilee, Texas was looking for the best cake for his daughter  Sierra's birthday and was lead  to the 'Twilight Baker' which was a half hour drive from his place.  Would you know that the owner of this bakery was a HS friend that 'he'd once kiss behind the school gym two day before his family moved to Jubilee.  Who would have thought Eli would see her again..."she was a sweet blast from the past." Would she remember him? Yes!  Now after sixteen years he now talking to Christine...just like old times. Was there  'physical attraction' between these two coming to the surface?   Eli had "walked into her bakery swaggering back into her life and she was feeling all those complicated feelings again."  Now, how would Christine send Christmas?
Christine realized that she had 'two choices...allow sadness and loneliness to overwhelm her, or put one foot in front of the other and move on."  As for Eli
after seeking Christine after sixteen years...had 'feeling come galloping back?;
To get it all you will have to pick up this read to see what was in store for Eli as he pursues Chrissy.  Was this something "magical...fate... and Destiny?  I really enjoyed this novel by this author and I am sure you will too!

Book four was of Flynn and Jesse with a baby(Grace) soon to be born were celebrating a Christmas...thing were tight for them but they were determine to make it... she had purchased a tree and put on a ornament that her mother had given her...however, it had fallen and was broken up into many pieces...Flynn was having a hard time at it because she was missing her mother who had died of ALS.   Now, she and her husband were out  delivering Christmas Angels gifts 'to the less fortunate before the weather got to bad. For Jesse things had once been bad for him..."sending ten years in prison, even for a crime he hadn't committed." Series: Shaw Family Saga Book 3
Review:

"Miss Perfect" by Nicole Dunlap was the in this series that is simply amazing Shaw Family Saga.  How was this done?  This author was able to bring it all together and still leave the reader wondering what was going happen in the next series. We find in this series  Raven Shaw still has a 'closet of skeletons...now being blackmailed.  Jon is now back with Raven but there seems to be 'stalker that looms just outside of reach, blackmailing her for Jon's fortune.'  Now what will come of  this? What were the secrets that Raven carried and wouldn't share them even with Jon, however, what secrets had Jon kept from Raven?

Charlene Shaw (Raven's mother)is now the 'highly acclaimed actress' and want very much to be into her daughter, Raven's life.  Will Charlene be able to? Had too much time gone by? What was going on with Charlene and  Damien?

"Miss Perfect" is a action filled novel that really moved fast. I liked how this author was able to flop back and forth in the read.   We find Raven had found out more about her 'real father'(Black Beauty Murderer) and believing she was like him...sick....now with this blackmail was now going on....will she get help from her mother?....and now she was pregnant with her second child. Raven felt she didn't need Charlene's help by telling her exactly  what was going on...but she goes to Debo for a  '38.'  Now what was she planning to do a gun? More questions...why was  Tyriq (Detective TT) trying to be so helpful?   To get all the answers to these questions and more you will have to pick up  "Miss Perfect" to see where this author will take us in this series.  All that was on Raven mind was to get 'rid of the blackmailer, all by herself. Wow!

Be preferred for a lots of twist and turns in the 'intense and suspenseful' read that you will find hard to put down until the end.  Will we see any growth, love or even redemption from  the Shaw Family... and even some friends of theirs.

The characters were all so very developed, well portrayed  and so very engaging only to give the readers a wonderful well written script.  Now, we have this family saga coming from Raven, Charlene and Annette...what will become of each of these people and let's not leave out a few others from the other family... in the mystery of it all...again pick up this excellent read.

As we continue to read "Miss Perfect"  their is a wedding coming but will it happen?  We will  hopefully find out from our next series from this author's novel  'Shattered Imperfections.'  So, with that being said "Miss Perfect" was a awesome read that kept moving smoothly till the end  only leaving the reader wanting more.

"A Heart to Heal" by Synthia Williams was a 'sensual' good read.  Once you started reading I found it hard to put down.  This author has so much happening in these pages that you will always want to know what will happen next.  I found this novel a very believable  and well written.  It was definitely a 'Shayla and Devin's story where we find that Shayla Monroe has 'returned to her hometown after loosing her job  in the big city and escaping a scandal.'  Why did she return home?  She had nowhere else to go!  Shayla returns home with having to face it all...not only her past and but now her present.

The characters were all well developed, some flawed, colorful, but most of all so real...only making this story so interesting to the reader.  Now, it gets a little wordy but that didn't take away from the excellent read.  This author did a wonderful job at bringing out how important 'acceptance and approval of our peers and family can be.'  I think we will see from the read that the main character Shayla wasn't the only one with some 'serious issues.'  Wow, her mother, other relatives and even the community were really something that Shayla had to deal with. I have read this author first book, Malice Striker, and I thought it was off the chart...good but then came "Death Blow" and again off the chart well done. This author has a way of making the story flow so smoothly...when you are wondering about it ....there it is all brought out neatly packaged to the reader. How this author puts together Konall aka 'Death Blow' with Nyssa was well done in this series. We have a fierce Viking and a woman who has no fear from any man. I found them both interesting because they both had one thing in common and that was their stubbornness to each other. Be ready for some interactions sexually that were sort of cute, amusing and even sweet. Nyssa had been 'cursed to a fiery death by a 'sea god' (vengeful god) and only a special man can save her.' Will this Viking be able to free her from the curse, reclaim her castle, lands? What was up with Konall's teachings of pleasure with a carved ivory dildo? Now, this is why I will say you must pick up this good read by this author "Death Blow" to see how it all comes out. Why is Nyssa so reluctant to even wed Konnal? There will be secrets that will be answered in the read. The characters were very much well defined and very engaging. So, be ready for a very interesting read with some twist and turns that only this author can give to its readers. Would I recommend? YES! Moving to Ann who was somewhat softer and reserved however, there was 'a spine of steel underneath all of her velvet finery'  which is brought out after she discovers really what Marcus wanted from her. I will say Ann definitely gets her revenge.   This author really gave the readers  a well written...a little long dialogue and at this point I will say you must pick up the good read to see what all will happen next.  Will these two get together?  Be prepared for some good twists but in the end....well you will have to read it for yourself.

"The Secrets of Married Women" by Carol Mason was a good contemporary women's fiction that involved romance, marriage, friendship, affairs and family problems.  This author did a good job with her 'dramatic storytelling' and being able to pull the reader into each of the character's lives.  We find in  this read three friends: Wendy, Leigh and Jill...all who seem to have the perfect marriage.  But was this so?  From the read you will soon find out their are 'Secrets'...with 'regrets, what ifs and mistakes.'  One thing is for sure none of these three friends aren't  perfect...far from it and that is what makes this story so believable, intriguing, emotional  and even down right funny at times.   You will find the characters are very human...meaning you will find many flaws making this a well depicted and portrayed read that you will not want to put down until the end. Be prepared to be shocked from some of this... because I truly was!

To really get the jest of the whole story you will have to pick up this good read to see if "The Secrets of Married Women" will  have a happy ending. I felt that this was a good realistic read with lots of drama. So,  if you are into that you have come to the right place and I would recommend this read  for you.

"After Hour's Tales" By Roy Glenn was really some  novella's of  'four tales of love, lust and passion.'   Each one of these novella's gives just enough that will leave you wanting more.  The reads were very smooth flowing...going from  a phone call...on to two that really shouldn't be together...why was that?  Then on to a 'Blind Date' that proved to be quite interesting and lastly girlfriends that have a night out that didn't go so right. Now, this is where I say you must pick up the good read to see what all this author has in store for his readers.   Be aware that  "After Hour's Tales'  are for the adult.  And saying that sit back and simply enjoy this well written read that only Mr. Glenn can give to his readers.

Review:

"The Reunion" by Adriana Kraft was a polyamory  novel  with real  'edgy characters with inclusive sexuality.'   Now, I will  just say this is not a read for the faint of heart.  Beware this story is of a man and two women.  This author really did her magic with bringing together two from there high school days.  Back during these two ... we find Sarah was considered a 'goody to shoes persona' and then there was Adam the  'bad boy out of reach' that looked on thinking Sarah would never want any part of him.   At that time these two Sarah Atkinson and Adam Granger weren't really friends but after a few dances at their class reunion these two are later to be found going at it in her room. Wow!  Adam leaves quickly  the next morning  for home which was in  California and Sarah is somewhat shocked because she wants more from this 'stud.' Sarah soon finds out where Adam lives... so she leaves her Chicago home  for California to find him.  However, upon finding  Adam home Sarah  finds out he has a housekeeper (Maria Ramirez) that was living with him...but was she really a domestic?  As the story continues to flow very smoothly, will this 'former good girl'  Sarah throws caution to the wind to pursue Adam? What is up with Maia...is she a live in lover of Adam's?  What happens when Maria hits on Sarah? Is she trying to pursue Sarah?  Will Sarah run back home to Chicago maybe to a ex?  What will Adam do?  Will he try to push Sarah to her 'sexual  limits' to try to get her to leave his well made love nest? Will there be a' three some'....Sarah, Maria and Adam?"  There is a lots that is going on in this novel and if this is your genre (erotic)plus...  you must pick up this well written novel to see how these authors (husband and wife team) will bring it all out for the readers. You may be surprise at how well Sarah seems to adapt to it all and becomes a take charge person in more ways than one. Also it will be interesting to see if Adam will want to be a part of this team and if he does "what must he sacrifice?    I found "The Reunion" a very easy flowing smooth read with all the characters being so well developed  and so colorful.  Once you start to read it will be hard to stop until you are at the end.

Thank you Adriana Kraft for permitting me to read your novel.  It was quite interesting learning about 'Polyamory.'  Would I recommend?  If this is your type of genre... then I am sure it would be your kind of good read.

"Loving Gianni" ...The Rossellini Family by Nikki Walker was a wonderful sweet romantic novella of two people who long for something and finally received it. This author gives the reader a well written story of a 'Professional Organizer' London Quarle. London's life was well organized in that she owned her own business and set to help others organize their life. Never would she have thought that her best friend, Edwina would need her services but when her Aunt had passed and she 'inherited property' well who was their to help....London. Only London never expected that a cousin of Edwina would comes and 'turn her world upside down.' Now, why was this? When London and Edwina had visited this 'elderly Aunt's resident' it comes out...this Aunt had been a hoarder and this project becomes very hard for London to take on. Why was this? Then comes Edwina's cousin into the picture...the good looking Gianni and the chemistry between London and Gianni comes all front and center. Will there be a little something going on with these two? Gianni has now hired London to help with the cleaning of his Aunt's place. What is the dark secret that seems to be larking in the background for London and even for Gianni? Now, I don't want to tell you too much...I really want you to pick up this excellent read and see how this author ties it all together in this well written novella. It's not long novel but very evenly paced read. You will find from the read that this one is definitely a powerful story of love that you will not want to put down until the end....and will be left wanting more! You will quickly see how this love does radiates between London and Gianni. Will they be able to stop and receive it? Also, in this great story is one of a love of a child who learns of her father as well as he learns of her. Will this love blossom? Will there be forgiveness from a family that thought they knew the truth about what had gone on with Gianni...why he had gone away... but really didn't know the real story? There will be a lots of answers to many questions as you read through "Loving Gianni." All in all be ready to be given a powerful story of love, forgiveness and most of all family.

Thank you Ms. Walker for letting me read this one early. It was indeed a excellent novella.
