Review:

"The Ruin of a Rogue" by Miranda Neville was a read  of a historical romance that had some mystery with some surprises that will keep you turning the many pages till the end.  This was the second in this series for this author and this novel focuses on the 'Viscount Lithgow: Marcus...where we find him a 'gambler, cheat and possible thief' and guess what he needed?  A marriage  to a  'woman of quality' and it seems like Anne Brotherton, heiress of Camber was who he choose.  But was this to be because Marcus was known as 'debonair for a man of his time, smooth and somewhat a bit of a rogue... and well known in the gaming areas.  Was he trying to be a better man?  You will find he answers to those questions from the read.

Moving to Ann who was somewhat softer and reserved however, there was 'a spine of steel underneath all of her velvet finery'  which is brought out after she discovers really what Marcus wanted from her. I will say Ann definitely gets her revenge.   This author really gave the readers  a well written...a little long dialogue and at this point I will say you must pick up the good read to see what all will happen next.  Will these two get together?  Be prepared for some good twists but in the end....well you will have to read it for yourself.

I enjoyed the plot line of the story and to see how this story will go from redemption to forgiveness really made "The Ruin of a Rogue" a good  read for as well as interesting read. Even though a long read it was fast paced and a nice romance read where you will  find the main characters intriguing and colorful which helped make  this a good historical romance.  Would I recommend "The Ruin of A Rogue?"  Yes, I found it a fascinating good read.
