Book Excerpt:
"Never date an entertainer.
That’s what Zorra Dyson tells herself until she falls for a popular dancehall deejay, Kai X.
A heated argument between them goes viral, and she’s grateful to the guy who intervenes and prevents a bad situation from becoming worse.
Tristan is everything Kai is not, yet she vibes with him. It’s clear he has secrets, and when their budding friendship affects his job and Zorra’s approval rating with her father, she’s forced to rethink their connection.
A decision is easy until Kai exposes Tristan’s devastating history on stage and hints that she’s the source. Kai’s game of revenge, plus the threat of being disowned by her father is a double-edged sword.
Yet, Zorra’s independence and the dream of a romance with someone who understands her are reason enough to follow her heart. That’s if Kai will let her go without ruining her life and what’s left of her reputation."

My Sentiments:
'Zorra' is a very interesting character who has been dating an entertainer somewhat for a few months, but will it last after what Kai X did to her? What will happen when Tristan comes to her aid? We find Zorra is nothing like her mother, Nasira, but what can you expect being the oldest and spoiled and used to having her way? Also, why was this Kai so vent on messing with Tristan who wasn't bothering anyone, Tristan had been through a lot during his childhood and seemed to be a nice person who just wanted to be left alone. I didn't understand Tristan's mom who thought he could change his sister Tiana's thought pattern of whom she wanted to be with. Oh, well...hopefully she will learn, but it has to be her decision to stay with someone who is not for you. A person has to be willing to want help. The story presents twists and turns, where one will have to keep up with what is going on in the story, as the story will jump around quite a bit. We find Rory and Nasira are now engaged, so that leaves us wondering who Jaxen, Rory's son... is interested in since it doesn't seem to be Zorra. To me, Jaxen puts too much emphasis on being a friend to Zorra which left me wondering what was up with all of that.
It seems like Zorra's interest turns out not to be Kai and that brought problems for him in this story. Will he ever learn that Zorra wasn't interested in him and his weird ways? Well, that leaves us wondering will Zorra and Tristan finally come together and be able to talk about their love interest in each other? Will she find that 'someone who understands her?' This is where I say, you will have to pick up 'Zorra' to see how it all comes out in the end in this good read.
