Review:

"A Pocketful of Posies" by W.C. Sorice  was a very interesting historical fiction read for me.  This  novel was able to connect it all together be it family, community, history, race relations, interracial struggle to so much more that is so important to all of us wanting to know 'the truth of it all' during
the 50's and 60's.  This may not be a easy read for some but hopefully you will be able to relate to some of the stories vitally and will be given a good picture of what has gone on in our history.  I love how this author was able to present  the government conspiracy which brings in the civil rights era events and even the wonderful music legends all having have greatly  impacted us.  Being able to search out our history makes this read so interesting with the story alternating between the wars and bringing the story into the twenty first century.  I like this twist and turns and ...the 'surprise ending' that only leaves the reader to wanting  more from this author.  Just who was this Alexander Posey
who was there in our history?  I found "A Pocketful of Posies" was a very interesting read that you
will receive some real important information of some important issues that will come out from the
read.  I would really say you must pick up this read to see who some of it is exposed in the read.  I
felt the author did a excellent job with his deliverance to the reader and I would recommend this
read as a excellent read.
