"Sharp Shootin' Cowboy" by Victoria Vane
What I liked about this novel.....
This novel was this author's third one in her 'Hot Cowboy Nights' series and I found it a interesting one dealing with a Marine Sniper and a Wildlife Biologist. This author did her research on this read providing and giving the reader some real issues that were dealt with for this hero and heroine ... Reid and Haley. Putting these two characters together was a work of art with them being so very different. I liked how this author was able to given us a story that will go on for many years where they will come back into contact again with each other. One thing is for certain they didn't hold anything back...as it seemed as they hardly ever agreed on any thing. Why was this? Why was it so hard for this heroine to trust anyone? I found all of the characters were well developed, well portrayed and believable for the most part. I will say that the heroine got on my nerves at times with all of her distrust of Reid however, I did understand that she definitely had determination and commitment. In the end will this get Haley where she wants to be? To find out you have to pick up "Sharp Shootin' Cowboy" to see how this author will bring it all out to the reader. It was be a interesting compromising journey.
