My Thoughts....

I found "He Fell From The Sky" a interesting paranormal read that will keep you turning the pages to see what was coming next.  Some of the characters were really something else in being they were so complexed. This is definitely one of those reads that will keep one guessing at what was really going on in this plotted twisted  suspenseful read. As there seems to be questions that need to be answered we will have to just wait to see what is coming next.

All that is left to say was this was a hard read for me. It was unbelievable that a man of God was able to get away with so many horrible sick things to his own family. I was left in a state of wow! As always, this author really knows how to get to the readers attention and this was definitely a emotional read that will stay with you long after the read.

My Thoughts....

This was quite a read from the beginning all the way to the end.  The author really knows how to give the reader one story that interweaves with an entire community.  With all of these characters the reader really gets a good read that will keep your interest as we are taken to a place in Alabama in the 60's.  I enjoyed the moral lessons that were brought in the read.  Be ready for a little bit of it all from 'judgement, fights, friendships, moral lessons, and definitely the christian message' that is there for all to see what is right or wrong for all to see.

My Thoughts....

What a read that will keep you on the edge of your seat will turning the pages to see what will happen next for these two Bernadette and Trent.  This Republican vs Democratic [two definite opposites] story really turned out to quite a interesting read that was indeed solid and oh so very entertaining that really made sense as you read through the story. Definitely there chemistry did allow them to really see each other way more that was just beyond the surface.   I loved the fact the Bernadette had just the right amount of sass and she knew how to handle Trent.  By the end the reader gets a 'provoking story, with interesting characters, sexy and romantic engaging ending with more to come.

Wow what a story that will definitely keep your attention.   I am not sure who I felt more sorry for...Sasha or her friends.  It seems like when it looks like everything is going the right way something stops and it all turns bad.  Poor Shasta 'is  forced to learn to fight and fight hard for her sanity, her heart, her life and the people that she loves the most.' It was hard to believe Shasta's best friend was gone.  Who did this?  Will Shasta be able to make it through this? So, at the end of this read we are given a cliffhanger and will have to wait for the next read to get the rest of the story.

What will Robin do when she finds out about Ashley?  How will this one end?  What advice did Marcus's brother Cam give him?  Who will Marcus choose in the end?  I was glad to see that Robin had someone [Jay] to stand with her in the end.

This was quite a sad sorry of suicide and how at the end Ciara's best friend Skylar took care of the problem.

This is where Brook thought she knew what she wanted until she got it.  Tip was one that wouldn't leave [truly a player] so three ladies got together and made things happen.

"Someone to Trust" by Mary Balogh

My Thoughts....

I enjoyed this historical romantic fiction that featured Lady Overfield and Colin Handrich, [Lord Hodges].  With Elizabeth being a widow and nine years a senior to Colin it will be quite a interesting read how these two find their way to each other and to think they met at a family Christmas holiday. What will happen when Colin and Elizabeth  start to have feelings for each other?  

However, Elizabeth will accept a proposal from another Lord but after this fiancee verbally treats her badly she breaks that proposal. Why was Colin so determined to make Elizabeth his wife after all of the Society gossiping that was going on about her?   Will Elizabeth give into her feeling even though Society just didn't approve of a older woman marrying a younger man?  

I loved how these two kindred spirits even though this age thing that was taboo at this time were able to get beyond that situation.  I will say there were quite a few relatives in this read so you will have to keep up with all that is going on.  It seems like Elizabeth had some wonderful relatives and friends that were with her but it seems like for Colin, well it was quite the opposite for his family.  I really didn't care for them [Colin's mom and sister] at all!  Well, to get it all you will have to pick up "Someone to Trust" to see how this story will all come out.  At the end I was left wondering a little about who was Colin's father. This was indeed a good read of how one must learn that trust and true feelings is what happiness is all about.

My Thoughts....

Wow,  this was a read that will definitely keep your attention turning the pages to see what will happen next.  Dray and Chynna were supposed to be the perfect couple but when she would show her 'jealous and abusive' ways Dray chose to step away from this relationship.  However, Chynna would not have it and so she caused problems for Dray and his new lady Bethany.  As I read through this story I shook my head and said that Chynna definitely needed some professional help.  It seemed that even Dray realized it too but there was nothing he could do.  I do feel that he could have stepped up a little more for Bethany.  I realized too at a point in the read he still had feeling for Chynna.  As I read I could see how this story was going and that was Chynna seemed to be crying out for help but until she recognized that she need it nothing will come of it. A person will have to be willing to want to make change before really anything will happen!    I am not sure who I felt more sorrier for...Chynna, Bethany or Dray. At least for Bethany she was finally able to see what was not good for her. Well,  I did see how it will all come together due to the fact that Dray still really loved Chynna, however, he didn't like what she did in her 'jealous and abusive ways'.  Will Chynna make a change for the good and not depend on her friend to help her out of her horrible situations she had gotten herself in.  When the tables were turned for Chynna  and karma finally comes for her,  well this is where I say you will just have to read 'Forever Ain't Enough' for yourself and see how this author brings it all out to the reader.

This was definitely a story that consisted of some many secrets that will definitely have to keep up with them to fully understand the story. In a way I felt sorry for Savannah however, she needed some help and it seemed like she had no one she wanted to trust. By the end when it all comes to her and what would she do I found it hard to believe she couldn't forgive. So, she thought that going back to her old way of life be would be best for her...remarrying her ex husband and have another man's baby? Will this really give her what she really wanted in giving up her family? Well, all the left for me to say ... the best to her with her new life! What a story!

What a enjoyable love story!  The main characters Grace and Donovan were definitely perfect for one another.  Their chemistry was hot from the beginning of their meeting.  I liked how this author put this story together giving the reader a little bit of it all from 'drama, suspense, intriguing,surprise, some humor, sizzling romance to a twist'  that will definitely give the reader quite a good  love read.  So, will these two get their forever?  Well, to find out you will have to pick up "All I Want Is Forever" to see if there will be a HEA!

My Thoughts ....

The story will keep you turning the pages to see what is coming next for Petra Sloane as she is in the need of help from the situation that she has been drawn into.  When Petra feels she doesn't have anyone else to turn to she turn to Ian Wallace who was the man she once loved and still did.  It sees that she left Ian due to the fact that he was all in to finding the Russian who had 'evaded him for years' where all he did was work.  Now she was back in his life she wanted his help since she had been framed for a crime she hadn't committed.  This story will have many twist and turns as this author takes the reader from a exciting story where Ian will investigate and to his surprise it looks like Petra's problems will bring him even closer to this Russian guy he has been after for many many years.  Will these two be able to talk and get to the root of their problem of why Petra had left him in the first place?  Will Ian be the one to walk away this time?

Now that she was back with Ian and needing his help will she be able to except him help.  I will say Petra did get on my nerves in that I didn't see her listening to Ian when he asked her to do certain things.  Oh well, by the time we get to the end I am on the edge of my seat wondering what was coming next with all the suspense that was all over the place due to what all was going on. Will these two finally get their HEA  after all is said and done?   To get it all  of this good read you will have to pick up "Rocky Mountain Valor" to see how the author will bring it all home to the reader.  I will say it will be in very interesting ending!

My Thoughts....

I enjoyed this series of 'Hearts of Metal book 3' of "Rock God"  which featured Dante Diety and Shayna Jones [Gray].  I found this a well written story with some very interesting characters that will keep you turn the pages to see what is coming next. We will find that Dante was quite the helper and Shaya was greatly in the need of help. This was a good romance read of sweetness and oh yes, sexual moments along with the protection and assertiveness that Dante had for Shayna.  It was good finally seeing Shayna standing up for herself especially with that ex husband who was a major jerk. I only wish she could have gotten a better grip on that mother of hers.  If you like a story full of 'drama, angst, sweetness, passion and inspiration' with some metal musicians you have come to the right place for 'Rock God' will give it to you and so much more and at the end hopefully we will get a HEAFN.

"Forbidden Song" by Brooklyn Ann

My Thoughts....

I loved this series 'Hearts of Metal Book 5  'Forbidden Son'  that featured Cliff Tracey who was the lead singer of rock band, Bleeding Vengeance and Christine Mayne who was the over protective younger sister of Quinn Mayne who was the lead singer of rock band, Vicious.  At this time Christine was wanting to work on her PhD dissertation in Psychology studying  the dynamic of a rock band relationship.  Now the only thing about this was getting a band that would let her study them.  With her brother Quinn being so protective and all how will this happen?  This will be quite a good read where one will find out a lots of what goes on with this metal band and a few others bands like Rage of Angels.  I did enjoy this read as we see how well the story will all come together in 'this sweet and sensual roller coaster ride that is full of angst and self realization as the past events fuel the unexpected connection between two very different people.'  In the end will Christine who is struggling to get control of her life after a sexual assaulted during her teenage years in which her brother Quinn blames himself being unable to let her go [after ten years] and live her own life in her own way especially since she is now a grown women of twenty-three?  However, from all of what has gone on in her life has presented problems causing Christine to feel she had to tell lies to get what she wanted.  I didn't like the lies she felt she had to tell to her band friends but oh well after it all comes out I am sure she even felt sorry for the lies she felt she had to tell. Now, to get the whole story to why Christine did all she did you will have to pick up "Forbidden Song" to see how well this author brings it out so well to the readers.  Be ready for a read where there will be drama, emotions, humours moments, angst, passion, tears, along with some hot sexy scenes that will keep your attention all the way through this interesting storyline. I enjoyed seeing growth of both of the main characters by the end of the read.   I will say that the ending was finished up so very well and definitely leaving the reader with a sweet HEAFN.

My Thoughts.....

If you are looking for an intensed, romantic suspense and thriller read then you have come to the right place as this series will give it to you and so much more.  "Watched for a Distance" features 'Us Marshall Dane Ryan now a member of Task Force Phoenix  and single mom Lena Scott.'  Little did Dane know that he would be knocked out by a whisky bottle and Lena who had taken him to a drug and human trafficker named Vicktor Kulakov who was a evil man that had 'kidnapped Dane's son for his cooperation in finding a man that he wanted killed.' 


Who was this person that Vicktor wanted brought to him?  How was it that both Dane and Lena families all depended on this same evil man?  What will they have to do in order to take him down and get safety for their families?  So now we have Vicktor who has Dane's son Tobey and wants him to bring a certain person to him by the name of Robbie Vanderhook.  So, what will happen when Dane and Lena set off to find this person?  How will this turn out where we find these two people [Dane & Lena] are thrown together and must learn a way to trust one another?  What will happen when Lena finally tells Dane the whole story 'whose' daughter [Mackenzie] had been  kidnapped and was being held to coerce her to do this criminal's bidding' and they decide teams up with Dane's group to plan a rescue of both of their children? What had Lena's ex [Brandon] done that got her all involved in his mess with Vicktor in the first place? How will this story all come out as these two are thrown together?  Now, to get all of these questions answered you will just have to pick up "Watched from a Distance" to see how these two will make it out of this whole entire mess. 

Be ready for a long good read of 110 chapters, which I thought some of these chapters could have been merged together.  However, this read is a fast paced read, romantic suspense along with secrets, drama and emotions with plenty of surprises  that will keep your attention as you are turning the pages to see what was coming next.  In the end you will get an enjoyable read of Dane and Lena's story that will get their HEA.
