My Thoughts...

I loved this collection of these'Five fun sixty-something novels and novellas.'

These are some good read with 'over sixty aged characters, different settings, twist and turns plots, to even some cruises' that will definitely keep you turning the pages to get more of the story. Here is a little of what each of the stories are about and after each story the author gives the reader a excerpt of another one of there novels along with a good recipe that was talked about in there read that I know you may want to try.

A TIME TO PUSH DAISIES—MARION UECKERMANN

What will happen when JoAnn Stanson and Caleb Blume meet on a cruise? How will this cruise make a change in both of their life's? What will happen when JoAnn believes that Caleb has her husband Errol [who had died] heart? This was a beautiful read of how one can find love at any age. I loved how this author was able to put these two together and in the end giving the reader a good HEA.

DREAMS COME TRUE—MARY MANNERS

Naomi Taylor who was from Serenity thought her life was going one way after the death of her husband but things will change for her when her abandoned grandson Max who was 15 and from Chicago shows up. Max had recently lost his mother [Amanda] due to a accident and his Dad, Austin had left. How will her neighbor Bill Miller be of help with her grandson? What will happen when Max meets Becky? I loved how this story comes together so well!

CARAMEL KISSES—CECELIA DOWDY

What all will Michael Gray do to find the daughter of his deceased wife who had given her up many
years ago. What will happen when he meet a candy maker named Dara Green? Will Michael be able to do what his wife had asked of him? This was another good read where you will have to pick up this good read to see how well this author brings it all out so well to the readers.

OCEANS APART—CLARE REVELL

What will happen when Oliver and his best mate's sister, Connie meet face to face after some forty-eight years?' When they finally meet things will change for these two. This author really gives the reader '48 years of letters before returning to the present day narrative.' This was beautifully done! These are really some good letters. These two hadn't seen each other since Oliver was sixteen when he lived in London. Oliver's wife had been dead over 10 years and he now wanted to be able 'to live again.' Would seeing Connie finally do this for him? This was indeed another good read that you will have to pick up and see how it all comes out.

and finally....

MOOSED THE BOAT—JAN ELDER

Mathilda the Maine Moose...
This was quite a cute read of Clare Evans and Travis Gibbs. Who would have thought that Clare could finally find someone just for her at the age of 66. What a good read! Truly that Travis was quite a keeper!

Now to get the rest of these stories you will have to pick up this beautiful intriguing read 'Somewhere Beyond the Blue' to get all of the above questions answered to the five stories and so much more. Be ready for some stories that is full with 'heartache, recipes, heartbreak, entertainment, hope, humor, tears and happiness' where it was proved that true love definitely has no age limit. These were really five beautiful reads that will give you much thought long after the read!
