Series: Risk It #2
Review:

"Risky Surrender" by Robin Bielman was the second in this Risk It series.  This read was a contemporary romantic novella was simply sweet delightful read.  These two...McCall and Lucy were so funny(the flirtatious behavior between these two) to read about and that made it  such a good enjoyable novella. I did find the first section of the novel a little slow but it did pick up and that part gave us some sweet 'sex scenes' that you will not be able to put down until  the end.   The story as well as its characters  being so well developed and intriguing really made this a good love story.

We find at the very beginning 'sparks will fly off this pair from the moment they meet by accident and simmer relentlessly while they are working on a Aztec village project."

Lucy is an archaeologist whose husband and father has died and she is left feeling like she must 'fulfill the debts that she feels that she owes to them.' Lucy will meet McCall who is a environmental preservationist and this is where they story really gets hot. I enjoyed how this author was able to imply the intimate scenes making them very tasteful.   Will there be something that will grow with these two? What secrets will be revealed?  As they get closer will there be 'obstacles and threats' put in their way?

Well, I will only leave you with two quotes...

quotes:

"You make it hard to breathe, Lucy."

and

"I want you with me, Lucy."

Now, just from those quotes you can see how hot this novella is and this is where I say you must pick up "Risky Surrender" to see how this author is able to bring it all out to the reader.

If you are looking for a well written novel that is of a sweet intriguing romantic story, I would recommend "Risky Surrender to you.  Thank you Ms. Bielman for letting me read your novella and also giving to your readers a good read.

Review:

"The Best Man" by Adriana Kraft was written very well for this contemporary erotic romance.  This author really know how to give it to its  reader. I must say I was a little shocked but soon recovered realizing this is how this author writes bearing nothing but all over the top.  Yes, this is a definitely 'open relationship/poly type situation.'  Now, at this point if you are not into erotic ménage then this novel may not be for you...so beware because it is somewhat 'over the top!'

The two main characters  Kitty and  Jared are were definitely made for each other by  them both being so 'strong willed.'  Be ready for a lots of sex scenes that will bring out in the end all of their emotions that they really  have for each other.  It was interesting seeing how Kitty will see Jared's ménage partner Serena.  The question is will Kitty be able to face the truth that her feelings are felt the same way and  their love doesn't have to be one that is 'scary or shameful?'   To really get this jest of it all you must pick up this good read to see how this relationship will go for these two, three or even four. Be ready for the secondary characters to bring in some deep sexy fascination into this read and talk about 'getting a little help from your friends!' wow!

I liked how this author was able to bring it on even for the little older matured adults with age not having a limit when it came to love.  With the right person you can learn and grow...even by pushing some boundaries if it's the right person.

If this is your type of genre and you are in for 'hot, steamy with some erotic kinks...then you have come to the right place...for "The Best Man" will be a good read for you.

Review:

"The Sheik Retold" by Victoria Vane and E. M. Hull was one good historical romance read.  After reading this novel I went and reread the original 'The Sheik' by  E.M. Hull and all I can say is that "The Sheik Retold" is some good read with the beginning chapters basically follows the original story, however, after Diana's kidnapping by The Sheik the story takes off a little difference.

I felt that 'The Sheik Retold' really brings it all out to the reader so much that once starting the read you will not be able to put it down until the end.  There was always something happening that will catch your attention and you had to read more to see what was going  happening next.

The two main characters...were really something... the heroine...Diana Mayo,  an English woman,  who was "a haughty young heiress for who the world is a playground.'

quote: by Diana

"My life is mine and I will deal with it exactly as I wish. I will do what I choose when and how I choose. I will never again obey any will but my own."
Then then their  was  Sheik Ahmed Ben Hassan (hero) who was 'cold, calculating, a chauvinist and very used to having it his way only. After Diane's brother, Aubrey wasn't able to  talk her out of traveling this 'French Algerian Desert'  alone because it wasn't safe, however, with her being to 'headstrong and stubborn'  she is captured by this 'The Sheik' who had some wild ideas of his own for this English woman.

The Sheik:

'Ahmed is his own law...he obeys no one. He is a fair ruler among his people...brutal and efficient, but fair. His near godlike status renders him answerable to none. What he wants, he has. His every whim is seen to, his every wish a reality. And he wants the blonde English beauty in his bed. Fortunately for Diana, he also takes great pride in wooing anyone or anything who doubts his authority...or his prowess...'

Diana soon learns that fighting this 'Sheik' would do no good because she had been 'stripped of the one thing she held dearly...her freedom.

quote: by The Sheik

"Shall I make you care, Cherie? Shall I make it your deepest desire, your only desire, to please me? I can make any woman love me when I choose."

Ahmed had seen her earlier and became intrigued and so now she was his to do whatever he wanted.  So,  we have two people...each used to having their way...and this is where this adventure takes off.  Will they start to fall for each other? With both of these two being so stubborned it will be some  interesting read. Be ready for some romance scenes. Will Diana began to discover the joys of actually being a woman?  In the end will both of these two be capable of love?

quote by Diana

"I had lived my entire live indulging my sense with all things beautiful - art, music, food, wine, perfumes. I had never refrained from handling anything or feeling whatever I chose. Nothing had been out of bounds to me. My wealth allowed me these singular privileges, but I had never before indulge my receptors to another's touch. I had long ago shunned the need for suck physical contact as a contemptuous feminine weakness, but he had forced my submission to it."
This is where I say you must pick up "The Sheik Retold" to see how these author will present this all to the readers. You will find it a little different from the original novel.  There will be answers to many questions along with the mystery that was  surrounded the hero  just  who was  Sheik Ahmed Ben Hassan?

You will find that the secondary characters were all very developed, captivating and colorful.  The authors  did a wonderful job with the descriptions of what was going on at that time... such as during the abduction by The Sheik was beautifully described .. making it so  vivid that it seemed to have come to life.  "The Sheik Retold" was a very intriguing  fascinating story with plenty of action and will only leave you to say that these author's have  done it again...giving the reader a excellent read.  Thank you so very much Ms. Vane for letting me read this one early.  Would I recommend?  YES!!

"The Sheik" by Edith Maude Hull was a good romantic, historical, and  adventurous read. This novel was a very interesting read first being  published in 1921 and now it is still such a good read that you will not be able to put it down until the end.  The read is of 'kidnapping and forced affection' that will only leave you thinking wow this is some read!   I found "The Sheik" well written only willing you to keep 'rived' on to keep  turning the pages. As you read you will see really how Ahmed feels about Diana and how she really feels about him.  I found all of the characters well developed, well portrayed and so very colorful.  For the hero...was he a brutal savage?  Does he love Diana?  Will the heroine Diana feel some attraction to Ahmed, even though at the beginning there was hate, now  fear his 'passionate nature' even though she fights her true feelings for him...that fear of not being in control?  Now, I don't what to tell too much but do pick up this good read by this author to see how this will all turn out.  Yes, there will be some issues but this author does a good job at bringing it out to the reader with the hints of sex which I found even more exciting.   My favorite part of the story was the last chapter.  I like how the author was able to let the reader see how romance was back in those days which certainly left me saying Wow what passion!  "The Sheik" was  definitely a good read that you will want see how this 'African Desert' comes alive.  Would I recommend?  YES!

"Desperate Thoughts" by Ian Dalton was definitely a read for the adult who enjoys erotica and romance with a twist. So, let me say this is a very adult content read that is very explicit. Now, with that being said I did find this novel interesting and really well written. The story was of a widow who decides to honor her now dead husband 'by re-enacting the story he had once told her.' Her husband had been her 'soul mate and her friend. However, while Victoria struggles to move on she encounters a shy college freshmen who reminds her of her late husband and it is then that she finds herself sexually reawakened and now she pursues to fulfill her sexual desires.' This story will take off and this is where I say you must pick up this read to see where all this author will take the reader. Be ready for a read that is out there...especially if you like erotica read along with 'multiple partners, anal play, explicit language and sex with strangers.' There will also be 'tears, emotions, hot sex and the ...well unbelievable twister tale.' In the end you see that this is a very 'spellbinding' read that will be some read. If you enjoy sexy erotica romantic novel, Mr. Ian Dalton's book(s) would be for you.
