"The Crimson Trial" by Freya Atwood
My Opinion:
'The Crimson Trial' was an enjoyable legal thriller with some suspense with many twists and turns that will have you all over the place where answers hopefully will be all answered at the end. In this story, we are dealing with a tough and successful defense attorney where it seems like her past has been leaked. So, what all will Laura Jones have to handle as she tries to save her client, but will she be able to handle all that is against her like those dirty cops, psychotic ex-husband, and finding out what all was going on that her rebelling son?
The story will keep your attention as Laura does a wonderful job at solving the problems that have been stacked against her. The extended story that this author gives the reader really did help explain a lot at the end as the facts gather to just who may have been guilty, and definitely who was the dangerous one where we will be left still wanting to know more where it looks like we will get it in future book series.
If you are looking for a well-written, good crime thriller read, you have come to the right place because this author knows who to give them to her readers.
I received an ARC of this book from the author, and this is my honest review and will definitely keep one waiting for Laura's next case.
