"A Praying Husband vs A Preying Man" by Tanisha Stewart
My Thoughts:
'A Praying Husband vs A Preying Man' story featured Imani and Isaiah, who were married and very much in love until they moved into a place that caused much trouble for the owner, Jethro. What was wrong with this owner? We soon find out he was greedy when it came to money and would do anything to get it. During the read, we see how this couple, Imani and Isaiah, had a big problem: communication. If they had been able to listen to one another, things may have gone differently for them. How Isaiah seemed unable to trust his wife made me shake my head at his stupidity, and for much of the story, even Imani didn't use good sense either by not telling her husband what was going on...not even her best friend, Rosie. Like I said...COMMUNICATION was their problem.
This author gives the reader an idea of how prayer can change things. If you are looking for an excellent psychological thriller, you have come to a good read of how this plot has such twists and turns...you will have to keep up. But by the end, the story comes together so well, giving the reader a good read.
