Mimic Kindle Edition by Deidra D. S. Green

Book Excerpt:

"The smile she wore was sinister, not the least bit sexy although she thought it was. She’d done her homework, studied her craft, referenced her mentor, and studied her hero's ways. She wanted to do a good job; to do it right. Although she couldn’t use the same modus operandi as her predecessor, she didn’t have the desire to. There was something about this kill and the kills to come that had to be all her own; unique, distinguishable, her signature. She wanted to make her own mark on the world and leave folks speculating and wondering... who done it?"

"Mimic" by Deidra D.S. Green

My Speculation:

Here we have another one of this author's Chole Daniel's reads where there is a predator out there killing people and seems to be getting away with it. But as always on Chole's team: Dr. Addison, Dr. Thaddeus, and Detective Micheal Phillips are there well as Dr. Brookes and Chief Livingston to help figure this all out. I can only imagine it was a surprise who was able to help them find out whom this corrupt person was that worked in the police station, who was able to possibly get the information needed to fill so free to make these strange killings. Who was this person friend that was in the group above?

The reader will be brought back into pass cases that involved the Grace Pembrook Wetherby and the 'Angel of Death' Anna Black. If you have read from this author's previous novels, you may be able to figure out who this person may be that worked at the police station. But was this psycho killer trying to mimic Anna Black, or was she trying to make her mark in the world'? Well, all I will say is that you will have to pick up "Mimic" and see how this story will go down. I will not say this is not the end because it seems like we will have more from this story because there will be a photo left for Dr. Daniels to see. OK, I will stop here and say pick up this excellent read to see how well this 'Mimic' will fare out!
