My Thoughts....
This read will give you much food for thought in trying to learn 'How to Be at Home in Your Self.' I will say the read was of interest to me in learning how to be happy with just being myself. I will say I did have to reread several portions of the read before I was able to continue on understanding a little more [I think] of just what this author was trying to get over to the reader. I did like and seem to understand the 'Law of the Five Elements' along with many of the case studies that were presented. If I can find the 'secret, peaceful, permanent place inside myself' and find happiness as well would be simply a joy for me. I may not understand it all but with the ten steps that are described in this read will help give one the secret of it all and learning that in the end knowing that one already has it all in just being [me]. I did love this how this author brings it all out that certain things like 'therapy, meditation...traveling the world' just may not make one truly happy but in the end just being happy with just who you are. As the author says..."The Answer is already inside you." I thought this was a good 'self help' read [taking it step by step]that will definitely give you a different way of thinking. This novel will keep your attention learning so much about your in "Everything You Need You Have: [and in the end] How to Be at Home in Your Self."

My Thoughts....
What a cozy mystery Christmas read that not only gives the reader a good story but some good food too! I liked the plot that was presented that simmered around the death of a part time Santa Claus [Brad Whitefield] and a 'Undercover Chef' [Lilah Drake] in Pine Haven. This 'Under Chef' was Lilah Drake who was quite something else in that she had such a intriguing job ...an 'Undercover Dish business where she cooked for people who then took the credit for the food that didn't have the time or the talent to make.' After delivering food to a third grade teacher at the school for a school party [macaroni and cheese] Lilah happens to see Santa in the parking lot. After speaking with him Lilah just minutes later happens to see something bad happens to Santa [hears a gunshot...she calls 911] and the story takes off from here. Needless to say Lilah life will be put in jeopardy due to the fact she has witness a murder and someone wants to keep her quiet. Now, how will this all turn out after putting Lilah under police protection? What will happen after she will have to team up with her former fling, Detective Jay Parker as they try to find out who this Santa really was and who was trying to kill her? This is where I say you must pick up this good mystery to see how well this author brings it all out to her readers. I found all of the characters very engaging, well portrayed, spirited and fun giving the reader a very interesting suspenseful mystery read. Oh, I don't want to leave out Lilah's dog Mick [Chocolate lab]who was just charming pet and the detective Jay Parker whom Lilah was trying to avoid after that disastrous earlier date[from Book 1..The Big Chill] who added to this good read. I really liked how this author was able to give us a read where after you read the novel you can see that the clues were there all the time ...well hidden and very well done. Be ready for 'yummy plot twist, deception, humor and some wonderful writing.'
This novel will definitely put the reader in the mood for the Christmas holiday...especially with all of that good recipes that will indeed make your mouth water. If you are looking for a good mystery read especially during the holidays I would definitely recommend this one "Cheddar Off Dead." The reader will get a little bit of it all from a well written holiday cozy captivating mystery that has a good flow of the storyline, the ending... wow and oh my the food that was talked about was off the chart good!

I really enjoy this story that dealt with Abayomi [Yomi] and Olanma [Ola] learning to deal with the 'power, faith, forgiveness and trust in God to handle it all for them. This will be quite a story as the reader is really taken on quite a ride. Both of these main characters especially Ola will work your last nerve. Will Ola ever learn to trust and forgive? However, I guess one will have to remember how she was raised and all [from the Christmas Ultimatum]. That long separation and the tragic episode didn't help out all all. Will these two be able to make it with their all their stubbornness they seemed to have toward each other? Be ready for a sweet romance, faith, trust, love, suspense, some much unexpected twist that will keep you on the edge of your seat. What a story that is filled with challenges and in the end the reader will see how well this story comes together and presented to the readers. The South Africa setting was indeed beautifully brought out in the read that did bring out a balance between these two 'African culture and values and their American business ties.' I enjoyed this story that was indeed had 'love, drama, ultimatums and above all Christianity' all bringing this read out so very well. This was definitely one of those novels that will give you some thoughts long after the read. Well done to the author.

Yakimali's Gift By: Linda Covella
Book Description....
"It’s 1775 in Mexico, New Spain, and 15-year-old Fernanda Marquina, half Pima Indian and half Spanish, can’t seem to live up to her mother’s expectations or fit into the limited female roles of her culture. While she tends her garden, matches wits with buyers and sellers at the weekly market, and avoids Mama’s lectures and the demands of Nicolas, the handsome soldier pursuing her, Fernanda grabs any opportunity to ride the horses she loves, racing across the desert, dreaming of adventure in faraway lands.
But when a tragic accident presents her with the adventure she longed for, it’s at a greater cost than she could have ever imagined. With her family, Fernanda joins Juan Bautista de Anza’s historic colonization expedition to California.
On the arduous four-month journey, Fernanda makes friends with Feliciana, the young widow Fernanda can entrust with her deepest thoughts; Gloria, who becomes the sister Fernanda always wished for; and Gloria’s handsome brother Miguel, gentle one moment, angry the next and, like Fernanda, a mestizo–half Indian and half Spanish. As Fernanda penetrates Miguel’s layers of hidden feelings, she’s torn between him and Nicolas, who has joined the journey in the ranks of Anza’s soldiers and whose plans include marrying Fernanda when they reach California.
But propelling Fernanda along the journey is her search for Mama’s Pima Indian past, a past Mama refused to talk about, a past with secrets that Fernanda is determined to learn. The truths she discovers will change the way she sees her ancestry, her family, and herself."

My Thoughts....
What a beautiful story that was well written about this Marquina family as they make their journey in 1775 from Mexico to California that dealt with the Spaniards and Indians. During this trips there will be hardships along this expedition a 'subtle history lesson' that deals with some well developed characters...[one being... Fernanda Marquina who was fifteen with her 'inability to accept the stifling constraints of her time'] while others [Nicolas, Miguel] to name a few who were so well drawn and believable that will gives the reader a rather interesting YA historical romantic read. The author did a wonderful job in giving the reader a detailed well plotted story in a visual way of actually making it is seem as though you are seeing the scenery descriptions [desert sand, beautiful horses]. The reader will feel 'the joys, family drama, emotions, choices, hope, friendship, death, fears and pains' of the read of its imagined reality. The story really presents a picture of how a teenager [especially a girl] could feel and in the end finding their way to make their dream come true. Now as this story all starts with the relationship with her mother and this is where this story will kick off and this is where I say you will have to pick up "Yakimali's Gift" to see how well this story is presented to the readers. Will Fernanda finally finds out about her mother's Pima heritage and will she choose whether or not she wants to be a wife? In the end will Fernanda be proud of her heritage and follow her heart and 'how to assimilate totally new cultures and concepts?' This was a good read that I would recommend to all!

Ivy grew up thinking one way about her mother but later to find out from her father that she had gotten it all wrong. Will she be able to get it right before it's too late? Be aware that this is a very erotic read and now having said that and not wanting to spoil any of the novel to the readers, you will just have to pick up the read and see for yourself how Ivy comes to the right conclusion for who she wants in her life. The River At Night By: Erica Ferencik
Book Description....
"A high stakes drama set against the harsh beauty of the Maine wilderness, charting the journey of four friends as they fight to survive the aftermath of a white water rafting accident, The River at Night is a nonstop and unforgettable thriller by a stunning new voice in fiction.
Winifred Allen needs a vacation.
Stifled by a soul-crushing job, devastated by the death of her beloved brother, and lonely after the end of a fifteen-year marriage, Wini is feeling vulnerable. So when her three best friends insist on a high-octane getaway for their annual girls’ trip, she signs on, despite her misgivings.
What starts out as an invigorating hiking and rafting excursion in the remote Allagash Wilderness soon becomes an all-too-real nightmare: A freak accident leaves the women stranded, separating them from their raft and everything they need to survive. When night descends, a fire on the mountainside lures them to a ramshackle camp that appears to be their lifeline. But as Wini and her friends grasp the true intent of their supposed saviors, long buried secrets emerge and lifelong allegiances are put to the test. To survive, Wini must reach beyond the world she knows to harness an inner strength she never knew she possessed.
With intimately observed characters, visceral prose, and pacing as ruthless as the river itself, The River at Night is a dark exploration of creatures—both friend and foe—that you won’t soon forget."

Now, what all happens during the trip will be one to truly have you saying did that just happen? What happens as their raft capsizes and leaves them stranded in a area that wasn't at all friendly. This author does a well done job at giving the readers quite a interesting characterization of each one of them that will keep you turning the pages to see what drama is coming next. I will say this was truly not quite a job for one doing this kind of outdoor skills especially since none of them had never had any experience in this endeavor. But I guess that makes this story even more interesting. Will these friends make it through this remote wooded area of Maine in one piece especially after they come into contact with some real strange people? I will stop here and say you will have to pick up the read to see for yourself how this author brings it all out to her readers. If you are looking for a good suspenseful thriller mystery, you have come to the right place because this novel will give it all to you.

This last [6] book of this series "Inner City Blues" of the Stafford's was indeed another good read featuring Dr. Jesse Stafford [a twin] and his wife Cydney [Cyd]. It was simply a wonderful well written story that really brings out what all is going on in this family. Between Jessie being a busy oncologist and his wife being a stay at home home...this family keep plenty busy. What will happen when Jesse is arrested and things started happening due to him aiding a family member of his wife? The story really picks up that will involve his wife too. Now, I don't want to spoil it other than saying you will have to get this novel in order to know what all is going on with Jessie and Cydney. I liked how this author brought in the 'current news headlines' of just what has gone on in this city of Atlanta. I thought that was beautifully done! This Stafford family [all of the characters]...from mom, dad, the six brothers and their wife's along with all of their children will give the reader one excellent storyline that will keep your attention to the very end. I will not only recommend this novel but all six of the series to learn about each of these Stafford brothers [Jesse, Nick, Marcus. Vic, Greg & Charles] and a lot more of this interesting family! This was definitely one of Arlena's Good Reads for the year of 2016.

This author really gives the reader a interesting psychological mystery ghost thriller drama read that will keep your attention not being able to put it down till the very end. Who would have thought after artist Liddy Barron who had a horrible accident [being hit by a drunk driver and having amnesia after the accident] will still have trouble improving due to her still having mental trauma. Will Liddy be able to separate her nightmares from reality? Now, why was this? After all she seemed to have a loving husband [Paul], but was that really true? The characters were all well developed, interestingly portrayed and believable giving the reader quite a gripping and intensed read. The storyline was well plotted where the reader will find themselves mesmerized with that ending that I will say I didn't see coming in 'whodunit.'. Be ready for a well written twist and turn story with good descriptions of Libby's paintings and hallucinations that involved what was going on with the 'ghostly Sasha.' How will this come out as Libby starts to have 'growing paranoia and the fear of her own sanity?' However, things do change when Emily receives a email from her fiancee But maybe all is not loss since she has met a 'friend'[Will] that seems to know what Christmas is all about and maybe even what Emily really needed in her life. Indeed this was a 'fast paced' read that will give you food for thought long after the read.

"Sugar and Spice" by Cecelia Dowdy
My Thoughts....
"Sugar and Spice" was another good 'Bakery Romance series' that will keep your attention turning the pages to see what happening next. The two main characters Sheila Parks and Mason Smith were well defined and believable giving the reader a good Christian romantic fiction read. For Sheila had been dealt a bad hand from a horrible breakup with her ex[Reese]. It was hard to understand why this ex didn't even tell Sheila that he had a 'twin' brother. When Mason [the other twin] meets Sheila it wasn't a pleasant meeting. Now, I don't want to give too much away about that other than to say it did have me shaking my head and even laughing a bit. However, things do start to look up for this heroine because employment is what she needed at this time and Mason was there to help her out. However, there was still something that was bothering Sheila. Would she be able to share with Mason and listen to her friend and mom? For Mason will there be some help out their for him that he had needed for a long time? I like how these two were put together in this sweet romantic story. We find both of the characters had some problems that needed fixing. How will this all be worked out for Sheila and Mason? Will they get their HEA in the end? Again, you will have to pick up the good novella to see how this author brings it all out so well to the readers. Would I recommend? YES, the whole Bakery Romance series: "Raspberry Kisses, Shades Of Chocolate, Sweet Dreams and this read....Sugar and Spice" that you will truly enjoy. Oh, I almost forgot...those amazing sweet treats that were from Mason's bakery sounded like some good eats.

But Viv's plans are derailed when she finds herself crashing into the club's clearly badass and dangerously sexy owner.

He can walk society's walk and talk society's talk, but when he wants something, he finds a way to get it. My Thoughts...
I enjoyed "Rough & Tumble" by this author and this was The Haven Brotherhood, # 1 series.
It is definitely a read that the reader will find hard to put down until the very end due to the fact that there is so much happening in this hot read. The story starts with Vivienne trying to find her sister [Callie] at a bar and comes into contact with Jace who was one if its owners. The story will take off from there...where the story brings in 'the brothers' [Jace, Alex, Trevor, Knox, Beckett & Zeke] who were business owners with checkered pasts, along with Jace and Axel's mums[Sylvie & Ninette]. What I enjoyed about these six brothers was that they came together forming their own family that 'protected each other no matter what the cost, that doesn't always operate with the confines of the law but lives by their own moral code.' Paul Remmer [politician] and a few others will also add helping to give the readers a very interesting read. How will these two ... Vivienne who was a event planner for her business Amaryllis Events become involved with Jace? What was up with Vivi being so confused about her life? What had happened in her life that had caused this? All I can say is what a amazing couple! Yes, Jace may have been somewhat bossy, a badass kind of guy but he had heart too. How will 'the brothers' handle that situation as it seems like Jace has an interest in Vivi because up to this time women weren't allowed into their group? By the end will these two get their HEA? Well, this is where I say you will have to pick up this good read to find out all the answers to the above questions and a lot more. I found "Rough & Tumble" a well written read with a strong story line. I look forward to the next series which will involve another brother... [Zeke & Gabrielle] in 'Wild & Sweet.'
Thank you to the Author for the read and letting me give my honest review!

This was a wonderful second in the series of the New York Sullivan's reads. I liked how this author gives the readers one interesting lovable read that featured Suzanne Sullivan and Roman Huson. Would I like to have Roman for my 'bodyguard' oh well, that's another story but for Suzanne she simply wasn't having it. What had her brother's [Alex, Harry & Drake] gone behind her back done in order to keep her safe? Will Roman be able to deal with Suzanne in her not wanting him around? What did Suzanne plan on doing to Roman that would send him running? What will happen when there is a twist in this story that will have the readers saying yummy with all that chemistry that comes about for these two [Suzanne and Roman]. Will Roman be able to keep Suzanne safe? Do you think that these two Suzanne and Roman finally get a HEA? Well, to get all of these questions answered and so much more you will have to pick up this wonderful well written series to see how this author brings it out for her readers. "Troubled Heart" Book 2" by this author was another good Christian mystery suspenseful read. If you haven't read Book , I would highly suggest you do so because it will add into things that had happened earlier especially for Toni Reed. The story will pick up by Toni Reed being a Forensic artist she was being asked to help in a case that soon would involve her with a person of her past. Now, how was this? With what had happened to Toni earlier [from Book 1] and now being asked to help a person identify a attacker...it was after she had drawn the picture of this suspect from the witness Toni is left believing that it look like someone she knew personally. How could this be? I don't want to spoil it for the readers other than saying when Toni and Detective Cam Noble [a longtime friend to the Reed family] get together what will happen when he insist 'she not interfere with the case.' The story had some very interesting characters that showed what can happen when someone hurts a family member. With Toni wanting to seek out justice in wanting to help [Jade and Olivia] will this put her own life in danger? Will Detective Noble be able to come to her rescue before it's too late? To get these questions answered and so much more pick up "Troubled Heart" A Novella [The Reed Family Book 2] to find out in this short novella. It was really wonderful to read this last Eden series # 4 [with some suspense and danger] where we find the read focused on Brenna Haven and Ludan Forte. This author really works her magic in getting these two together, I liked how it was done with Brenna having had such a tragic life begin kidnapped, raped and at eight turned into a slave by Maxis...now free and then we have Ludan who seemed to have a gift that held some painful consequences [memory stealing gift], so what will become of all of this? As these two are brought together will they be able to heal each other and finally get their HEA? It will be quite a interesting fantasy read as we see the prophecy about Eden was coming to a head and how this new race is created as life that had been extended to these humans. Be ready for a series with some drama, tension, love, tears, fear along with some wonderful well developed characters with gorgeous settings and descriptions of Eden that will keep your attention. I don't want to leave out the hot steamy sex scenes that this author brings out so well to her readers. The reader will get a wonderful ending to a great series. Book Description....
"The only hope for saving their race is to surrender their hearts.
With a long foretold and annoyingly vague prophecy warning of immense change for Eden, Ramsay Shantos is forced to hunt words and legends instead of rebels. For a man of action, it’s the worst kind of agony. Until he encounters a sexy librarian who bears the fated prophecy’s mark. A mark no human should possess.

Her immunity to his thoughts sparks a fragile hope that she might finally experience the passion of her Dark Spiritu brethren…unless he’s the dangerous crossroads her father predicted.
When knowledge of Eden goes viral in the human realm, Trinity is Ramsay’s only hope for quelling mass panic. Can he risk revealing the secrets of his race to the guileless ray of sunshine? Or is she the unknown source of Eden’s destruction?"

I liked how this paranormal romance story picks up where the first series left off, so I would definitely suggest you read the first series so you will know what has happened in the past especially for two main characters Lexi and Eryx [the king and his wife]. Now, we find this this series is featuring Reese and Galena. It was quite a interesting journey for Reese who becomes a prisoner and Galena seeming to be falling for him. Will these two be forced to come to some decisions that will change their lives as 'Individuals and as a couple? This was one interesting read of where 'the world is divided basically into those who wish to overthrow the rulers and enslave humans against the Myren's of Eden.' This rebellion issue that involved Maxis [Reese's half brother] was quite a interesting one seeing how it all plays out with its twist and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat turning the pages to see what is coming next. Will Reese and Ery's sister, Galena find their HEA? I don't want to tell to much other than say if you like a good paranormal series you have come to the right place to get a good read. Now on to the next series for me: 'Waking Eden.'

I did even find some comedy and a little drama that added so well in this story even making you feel that you are there as the people seem to come alive. By end the read I felt I got one beautiful look at Tuscany and YES I would recommend this novel as a good read.

I loved how this author brings out that southern charm that Isaac seems to bring out to the reader in the read. I also loved how the author brings to us a true Tamara. This author brings two very unlikely people together who seem to be the perfect match for each other as the reader is given the 'depth, heart, passion and true personalities' of each of their own story. But is that to be? Will Isaac be able to protect and rescue Tamara's sixteen year old niece as well as Tamara? It is definitely one of those read that once you start reading you will not want to put it down until the very end. For this read is full of a little bit of it all from being a not only a heart pounding ride, fast paced read, lots of fun banter, insults, revenge plots, betrayal, blackmail, kidnapping, drama, twist and turns and plenty of hot steamy erotica sex from the two main characters [Taz Hazard {alpha kickass hero}and Bianca Sutherland{kickass heroine}] that will keep your attention. There are some interesting secondary characters[from the B Squad Security and Investigations] who are on a mission to find their missing kidnapped friend Gidget. Will this be a easy mission for them? What all will happen when Taz's ex wife appears? This will turn quite interesting when the 'Coven' girls [who were 'Five women, strong, independent, best friends and had been through a horrible experience at the high class boarding school they had once attended] believe their friend Bianca has been wronged by Taz. I loved that wax shave given by Elise! It seems like Taz had forgotten to tell Bianca about his ex wife. Now, why was that? Was Taz married or not? Now I don't want to leave out the six men in B Squad who were mostly 'tall, dark, muscular and gorgeous.' I did find all the characters well developed, portrayed and oh so believable that will keep you turning the pages to see what will be happening next in this fast paced read. Anyway it seems like this team are on a case that deals with a dangerous drug kingpin [who had kidnapped one of their best friends] and dealt with a horrible drug called 'Genie's Wish'[a hallucinogenic drug].What will happen when Taz and Bianca go undercover at a 'Lifestyler Resort, where clothing is optional? While this is a romantic read be ready for a sexy suspenseful romantic read. I don't want to spoil it for the reader other than to say this is one good read to pick up and the reader will get all the answers to the previous asked questions. It will be quite a interesting read to see how this will all turn out for Taz and Bianca.

The Twilight Wife By: A.J. Banner
Book Description.....
"From bestselling author A.J. Banner comes a dazzling new novel of psychological suspense in the vein of S.J. Watson’s Before I Go to Sleep and Mary Kubica’s The Good Girl that questions just how much we can trust the people around us.
Thirty-four-year-old marine biologist Kyra Winthrop remembers nothing about the diving accident that left her with a complex form of memory loss. With only brief flashes of the last few years of her life, her world has narrowed to a few close friendships on the island where she lives with her devoted husband, Jacob.
But all is not what it seems. Kyra begins to have visions—or are they memories?—of a rocky marriage, broken promises, and cryptic relationships with the island residents, whom she believes to be her friends.
As Kyra races to uncover her past, the truth becomes a terrifying nightmare. A twisty, immersive thriller, The Twilight Wife will keep readers enthralled through the final, shocking twist."

My Thoughts....
What a good mystery thriller with psychological suspense read that will keep your attention and definitely have you guessing all the way till the end keeping you on the edge of your seat. The author gives the ready quite a story of what happens to Kyra Winthrop after an accident steals her memory for the past four years. But what will happen as Kyra begins to piece her life back together again? This is definitely a read that will give you a 'tale of confusion and deceit' as the twist and turns with clues that are brought out in this well written story. I liked the way this author gives the reader such a story that you will not see that ending coming definitely giving the reader a real shocker. I liked the descriptions used in the story with 'details of marine creatures, birds and trees on this Pacific Northwest island [Mystic Island].'
"The Twilight Wife" is one of those stories that you will just have to pick up this good read to find out the truth that will be webbed in the lies and deception of it all. The characters were all well developed, portrayed and defined giving the reader one easy read of a incredible story. Will Kyra be able to finally get more of her memory back and becomes more confident in her own abilities to finally connect the dots? In the end will it all work out for Kyra? Well, this is where I say you will have to pick up this good read to see just how this author will bring it all out to the reader. If you like a good mystery thriller with psychological suspense, then I would recommend "The Twilight Wife" for you.

"Secrets She Keeps" by Amaie Avant
My Thoughts....
Who would have thought as Reese Dunham is visiting her friend at a dive bar she would encounter the likes of a 'druggie' Riker when Detective Evan [Tino] Zaccarro[undercover cop & alpha] notices that someone [Riker] has slipped a mickey in her drink? Now, what will come of this will definitely keep your attention as you read through this well written story that had lots of drama. What will this bakery owner do as Evan [the man in a suit] comes to her rescue? There will be a lots of secrets and lies that are interwoven into this read of many twist and turns. I loved how this author brings it all out to the reader as one will see from the read these are 'true soulmates' but will they be able to get to their HEA when all comes out? I found most of the characters [Reese, Evan, Jamie, Sandra, Tony, Lolita, Riker,Tyrone, Milo, Salvatore] to name a few were a rather colorful group...but Reese's mom Lolita was another story with all of her selfishness that was off the chart...horrible. I did find the read slow starting but yet very intriguing that does pick up its pace giving the reader a little bit of it all from 'dirty cop with ties to the mob, crazy mom, biker gang, the Russian Mob to Italian Mob' taking the reader to a real interesting ride. As the explosive secrets and lies start coming out and I don't want to leave out the hot steamy sex that this author is well noted for having in her well told stories, and in the end the reader does receive a completed well plotted story of a good suspenseful mystery romance. Would I recommend? YES!

We're All Damaged By: Matthew Norman
Book Description...
"Andy Carter was happy. He had a solid job. He ran 5Ks for charity. He was living a nice, safe Midwestern existence. And then his wife left him for a handsome paramedic down the street.
We’re All Damaged begins after Andy has lost his job, ruined his best friend’s wedding, and moved to New York City, where he lives in a tiny apartment with an angry cat named Jeter that isn’t technically his. But before long he needs to go back to Omaha to say good-bye to his dying grandfather.
Back home, Andy is confronted with his past, which includes his ex, his ex’s new boyfriend, his right-wing talk-radio-host mother, his parents’ crumbling marriage, and his still-angry best friend.
As if these old problems weren’t enough, Andy encounters an entirely new complication: Daisy. She has fifteen tattoos, no job, and her own difficult past. But she claims she is the only person who can help Andy be happy again, if only she weren’t hiding a huge secret that will mess things up even more. Andy Carter needs a second chance at life, and Daisy—and the person Daisy pushes Andy to become—may be his last chance to set things right."

"We're All Damaged" by Matthew Norman
My Thoughts...
What a read that will give you a little bit of 'hilarity and seriousness' that will keep you turning the pages as you read about some people who are 'heart wrenching, heart rending, heart breaking, witty, and hilarious people. As you read through "We're All Damaged" I was let wondering if Andy Carter will finally get his life together and find happiness in a world that seem to thrown definitely down a 'gauntlet against such simple wants' because it seems like Andy can't catch a break by fooling around in his life after his wife leaves him for a paramedic, he loses his job, he relocated to NYC, leading him to a sad drunken existence...then a trip back home to Omaha whose grandfather is...well, I will stop here and say pick up this good read to see how this author presents it so well to the readers. With all that has happened to Andy over the last past year will he finally get a 'righteous rainbow' arrive for him? What a story that is about 'family, hope and dreams.' The list of characters where some are all well developed, quirky, portrayed and some even being multi-dimensional...from Andy, to his mom[Nancy], his brother [Jim], his ex wife [Karen], his dad, his grandpa, best friend, [NEAL] and then there is Daisy [what a character!] to name a few that will keep you turning the pages to see what is coming next. If you are looking for a well written read that has 'perceptions, dysfunction, love and even second chances' then this is definitely a read for you to enjoy.
