Unbalanced 3: Torn Kindle Edition by Laura T. Johnson

Book Excerpt:

"Catherine Wallace finally has the life she's always wanted; a family, a career, and a man who loves her. Her life is picture-perfect...on the outside. Though Catherine has tried her best to cling to her husband, she finds that it gets harder and harder with every passing day. Her life has become an assembly line of painful memories. How much more can a woman take?
Dorian Wallace hates anything that takes Catherine's attention away from him. He provides everything she needs. She doesn't need anything or anyone but him. He made sure of that. Except Catherine has found someone else. And now Dorian is dishing out punishments with a vengeance.

* This is the second book in the Unbalanced series
** This book does end in a cliffhanger
*** If you are sensitive to domestic violence topics, this may not be the book for you."

"Unbalanced 3: Torn" by Laura T. Johnson

My Speculation:

This was a story that you'll need to start with the first novel by the author 'Unbalanced' then on to the next one, 'Unbalanced 2: Marriage Then Love,' and now this one 'Unbalanced 3: Torn' to fully understand what all has happened in the storyline. As you are really, the reader finds out this is what has happened in this author's life: abuse. WOW, is all I can say! How she endured going through all of this only God knows. It is hard to understand Cat's husband Dorian other than being CRAZY, and nobody could see this! Then there is poor Cat...all that is left to say here is I can't believe she didn't have anyone to talk with about this situation. Why did she feel that death is her only ending! Oh well, there was Myles; hopefully, something good will come from this, but it seems like we will have to pick up the last novel, "Unbalanced 4: Omega," to see how this will come out for poor Cat. Domestic violence is definitely serious, and we should take this as one who knows what it is all about just living from one day to the next and staying alive. So sorry this heroine had to 'suffer and hide in silence' when there were people all around Catherine that loved her and was there for her only if she had been willing to share.
