"Treat Me Nice" by Roy Glenn was really some captivating read.  This novel has several plots going on that you will have to keep up with it all because it moves rather fast.  Here it is in just a few words.....We have two detectives Kirkland and Bautista  bringing  down Raynaldo Baker...serial killer?...news person Carmen  trying to get a good story on a bribery....Jada West is  coming to New York....why?...Wanda, Wanda, Wanda... now what does she have up her sleeve?....Donaldo Baker & wife Ryder....what's up with J.R.'s daughter...Rain Robinson....what was going on with Nina Thomas and Wanda and a dealer named Nado Benitez.. rapper P Harlem...Lanisha Henderson & Bobby...Agent Dawson...Jada & Carmen meet up ...why? ...April Dancer & Nick..is he a father?...Xavier...Colonel Mathis...oil company?....contracts?...Victor, Wanda & Jackie hookup...Carmen and Jada's call to Black...shoot out....Shy and Jada at Salon de Ning...more shots fired... Victor & Jada? ....what's Ryder and Donaldo up too?....detectives shot?.... Rain a true solder only doing what was ordered from Wanda...but is a war going to be starting up by making a move on Lloyd Brill?  Does Mike Black know of this?  Was Wanda doing some strange things unknown to Mike Black?

A Talk with Mike &  Bobby... then they talk with Sherman:

“You wanna tell me what’s going on in my house that I don’t know about?” 

“You know, when me and Rain were talking about this, both of us looked at each other and said, Black and Bobby can’t know about what Wanda’s doing,” Sherman said and told Black and Bobby about the war that they were fighting. “On two fronts,” he said.

Nina in trouble and calls in Rain's help....more shooting....Black calls Rain and wants to meet.... Now at the Cuisine...Wanda receives a DVD From Nado Benitez... oh No!...more shooting....what happens next?

The main characters are simply off the chart ...excellent...well developed and  well portrayed along with the secondary characters that build to draw you into the story.  Be ready for a excellent urban fiction novel with action, mystery, drama, twist and high range of suspense. 

Now, I will stop HERE and only say this is one that you will have to read for yourself to get the full understanding of how this author has laid it out to the readers because there is even more to this read. We who love Mike Black's series will see how this author has truly written a script that once you start reading, it will be hard to put down until the end... or is it the end?  Now, what  does Jada think she has up her sleeve?  Did she forget Shy's warning?  Oh well,  Mr. Glenn will have us truly waiting for more!!  Like I said earlier there is so much in the read....leaving me only to say wow what a captivating read!  There will be more to this read and in the end will Mike Black be able to run a 'legitimate business' or will be pulled back in to handle his business?  Thanks to the author for letting me read "Treat Me Nice."  Would I recommend? YES!
