"Souls Harbor" by Myra Rutledge
My Opinion:
'Souls Habor' was a good read that was 'full of wonderful lessons, with the abundance of our God's great forgiveness, forgiving oneself, your past, and in the end, set free from sin.' This author worked in these well-developed characters that took the reader through quite a read until most could get on the right path. This story will have several characters where their lives will be dealt with...Pastor Silas Hobbs, Jada, Jamal, Miles, Latoya, and Raine, where their lives will be related in one way or another.
Be ready for a read where the lies and secrets start to come out...oh my, what an entanglement this story has that will have you shaking your head and as you take it all in...as to what is going on with these people. The author works well to show that no matter how far one may drift away from his will, we can still get back on the right track and remain faithful with good.
I enjoyed the scriptures included in this story and the questions put to the reader at the end of the read. This gives one a lot to ponder over long after one has set finished the story. Questions like 'Where is our 'Soul Harbor,' is it in heaven or hell?
If you are looking for a good exciting read with a well-woven plot that deals with Christians, I recommend this read.
