My Assessment:
"Single" was just what the title was about...with Sheena Gaskin, 52 years old, only wanting to be single. Now, why was this? As the story goes, Sheena had many obstacles in her life that presented many problems ...for one thing finding out she suffered from agoraphobia...the same as her mother. Then there were issues with her sister[Danielle], her childhood school friend[Krishell], and let's add a childhood boyfriend[Linton Oliver]. So, you may say the only thing she had in her life was her devoted dog...Shadow. Oh, I will tell you that through it all, after her move to Texas, Sheena finds a brother she never knew she had...I will stop saying you must get the rest of this good story by picking up the read.
Be prepared for many twists and turn in the story and the story goes back to her childhood and what was now going on with her life as she relocates to Fort Worth, Texas. Will this move bring her happiness as she meets up with her two childhood friends?
The reader will have to pick up...not wanting to tell too much of this well-written story. However, by the end, will Sheena find contentment and peace in being single, or will someone be trying to get her to change her mind?
