Review:

"Aftershock" by Jill Sorenson was a  first in a series that kept me on the edge of my seat...I could not put it down.  With its suspense and romantic edge you are kept  captivated until the end.  This all starts out  with a horrible earthquake at hits San Diego and a paramedic Lauren Boyer is trapped under a collapsed freeway.  In her search she comes across a former marine, Garrett Wright and together they form a camp with a few other survivors.  Soon they become confronted by three escaped, with weapons  and dangerous convicts who threaten their lives.  How will this come out?  Will there be something going on between Garret and Lauren romantically?  The secondary characters between Owen and Penny were interesting.  I found for the most  part of the novel  the characters were well developed and colorful.  This is where I say you must pick up "Aftershock" to see how this author is able to get this delivered  to the reader.  Be ready for a romance with 'no hearts and flowers, hard core with convicts and a survival and death and yes, there will be hope and love within all of this despair.'

If you are in for a good read with pulse-pounding action packed you have come to the right place for "Aftershock" will give it to you and I would recommend this read.
