"Shoeless Child" was a wonderful psychological thriller that will definitely keep you turning the pages as the reader will see another good series that involves Detective Kerri Blasco who had been recovering from a previous serious injury was back on the job facing another murder. With Kerri and her partner, Alex Brand will they be able to solve this case..with a dead body [Lauren Huff] , and Rachel Sparkes who was alive and being transferred to the hospital also to learn her child [Charlie] was there when all had gone down was now in a mute state and had been traumatized. What will come of all of this? So, what all will Kerri do in order to get Charlie [who was five and a witness of what had happened to his mother and friend] do to help him be able to communicate again? Not only has all of this happened but as the story continues we find out there will be other bodies that will turn up dead. Be prepared for there to be many suspects that will be looked at but by the end ....well, you will just have to pick up "Shoeless Child" to get all of the questions answered as there will be some twist and turns.
This author really gives the reader quite a 'gritty, intense psychological thriller' where at the end will be a real shocker at just who this killer was...at least it was for me! Indeed this was absolutely a rivetting good read that I would definitely recommend it to you especially if you enjoy a good thriller read.
