Review:

"Connected By The Sea" by E. L. Todd was a sweet contemporary romance I found especially for the young adult. I found this story to be of some twist and turns that really kept me turning the pages until the very end. I found "Connected by the Sea" a very enjoyable read with a good plot offering a quick read in this Hawaiian tropical breeze setting. Could this college girl get through school and life despite her troubled past?

We find Sydney has left her horrible past behind in California and is now attending college in Hawaii. After being asked by her professor to become a tutor Sydney agrees and becomes the tutor for Coen. Will Sydney find him attractive? Was this a bad thing after all that had gone on in Sydney's past? What will her best friend Henry think of this decision? What was up with Coen ex Audrey?

To get these question answered and many more you will just have to pick up this good read to see how this author will bring it all out to the reader. It will be a interesting read. You will see from the start of the read and left wondering what had happened in Sydney's past to make her the way she was and by the end of the read you will know the reasons why.

The character...especially the heroine was a strong character along with the others being so well developed, well portrayed and memorable only help giving this well written read such a fascinating story to read. I found this read a good one for young adults "struggling with identity and self confidence and dealing with what life dishes out." Even in the darkest time in our life there can still be hope for you. This author really presents to the reader feelings and emotions, having secrets, being bullied and threaten and having a bad home life, all tied up and in the end you can turn your life around, We found that Sydney did so by protecting and doing the right thing to overcome all the hardships in her life and in the end having happiness. This was truly a read of "a journey of love, passion, friendship, forgiveness and honesty." All I am left to say is that this author did a wonderful job with such touching scenes showing emotions and wow such drama. Would I recommend? YES!
