"Construction Beauty Queen" by Sara Daniel was a very good contemporary
romantic read.  This was another good love story that evolved around Matt
and Veronica that was sweet and funny read.  All of the characters were colorful
and well developed and some really having you to laughing out loud.  This was a emotional story in that you find Veronica was just trying to 'fulfull her dreams against everyones will' especially those towns people who did like or appreciate her even being there.  "Her grandfather tells her she can work for his construction firm for thirty days, and if she is successful then she can take over his distribution company he owns."

Then there was Matt who what the owner of the 'Kortville Construction Company'who wasn't happy that she was there and having her work for him.  Now, what is this all about?...Poor Veronica would have to not only prove to herself, grandfather, whole town and Matt but she must win them all over.  Will she be able to do that?  This is the time that I say you must pick up the excellent read to see how Ms. Daniel will present it all to the reader.

We see from the read that Matt Shaw has lost his brother, sister in law in a
accident.  He has the care of his niece and has also taken over his brother's
company and with that has become a big part of the town.

So, will this hero and heroine finally be able to get pass all that has been put in front of them come together and work out the real problem?  You will have to pickup this read to find out.  If you are looking for a good read that is a good I would recommend "Construction Beauty Queen" to you as a good read.

"Caden's Vow" by Sarah McCarty was this authors' 6 in the series..Hell's Eight
# 6.  This novel was a good western, historical, erotica romance that is all rolled
up into one good novel.  I found this series just a love story of Maddie and Caden. Both of these two people were 'broken human beings, one very obviously needing restoration and healing after years of sexual abuse since the age of eight."  "She was rescued in one of the previous books and brought to live with the Hell's Eight and their wives."

Caden had some serious wounds of finding out just who he really was and who
he wanted to be on "set on fullfilling a promise to his father, going to the gold mine." So, what will come of Maddie and Caden?  This is where I say you must picke up "Caden's Vow" to see how this will come out in this forced marriage.
Be ready for the 'wild wild west, gold mines, riding horses, and shootings.'

Many of the characters have come back into this novel from past series runs.
You will find all of the characters so very well developed and very much so capivating only to give you a good read.  This author has some writing style that shows how she is able to creative such a historicical western  manuscript for her readers even giving you the smells along with the experience of this life.

If you are in for a good western, historical and romantic read with some erotica "Caden's Vow' would be recommended to you as a excellent read.

How does this story start.....

The novel will definitely draw you into this story of "Princess Gisela  would honor the wishes of her father and that was to marry an Illyrian even though  her heart tells her something different.  On her way to be betrothed and she is injured and near death. You will be presented with a vaiety of emotions from laughing and even tearing up somewhat as I read though this novel. I found "Bring on the Blessings" a moving novel about Bernadine Brown, who was a divorcee that became a multi-millionaire due to her cheating
husband.  With Bernadine having all of this money she wanted a more meaning and purpose in her life, so she decided to buy a historical small "Black" town in Kansas that was facing bankruptcy.  Will  Bernadine be excepted in this town?  Bernadine also wanted to help foster children. How will Bernadine go about this?   How will this town of 'Henry Adams' take to  Ms. Bernadine ideas?  She is 'Black' and they (town people) thought the new owner was 'White.'  Some of the characters were really something ..some likable and then their were a few that I will just say I will let you decide from  Bernadine Brown, Lily and Trent, Malachi and even Riley to Cletus to name a few. Now,  you must pick up this well written read to see how this author will present this all it to the reader.  You will find out from the read if this women will be able to save the town and help the children brings wonderful blessing to her in  this new town. I loved the quotes that this author used at the beginning of each    chapter.......one I loved:

"When you have lost your way, when the world appears as if it is crumbling around you,
perhaps, just maybe, you should close your eyes. By looking outward we forget the
strength that is given inward. We can only see part of the picture with our eyes open.
But, when they are closed, we see as a whole. We concentrate not on what we can

"No Flowers Required (Love Required)" by Carl Quinn was a good contemporary romance, women fiction- chick-lit read. This was a novel of Alexa's and Dillion's story that was a quick read. Once I started reading "No Flowers Required" I wasn't able to put down until the end.

Here is what this novel is about ... From the Author:

"He’ll give her everything she desires...except his identity.

Flower shop owner Alexa Conroy had it all before the recession hit and her customers fled to cheaper shopping grounds. Desperate to make ends meet, she sells her dream home and moves into the rundown apartments above her shop. When she spots six feet of sexy distraction—complete with muscles, piercings, and tattoos—ripping up flooring, Alexa knows the karmic windfall she’s due just landed on her doorstep.

And the attraction’s definitely not one-sided.

Dillon James, reluctant heir to the corporation about to foreclose on Alexa’s shop, is not about to jeopardize their scorching chemistry by admitting he’s not the building’s handyman. But with only weeks until her business goes under and his identity is revealed, Dillon must find a way to convince Alexa cooperation isn’t a dirty word, help her save the shop from his brother’s greed, and persuade her that he’s not the enemy...or risk losing the only woman who’s seen the real him."

This novel was 'sweet sexy story with lots of heart and humor' however, there was a secret being kept by one that turned out to be a big secret that could fall apart in a flash. Now, to find out what this secret is you will have to pick up this good read to see how the author will bring it out for the reader.

Review:

"Invisible" by Carla Buckley was some good mystery read. I feel this read would appeal to the women-chit-lit. This novel will have you still thinking of it long after the read. "Invisible" was all over the place with a real complex family relationship to environmental issues that lead to a deep mystery. There will be many twist and turns...along with some surprises as you read through this novel. "Invisible" is told in first person by Dana Carlson (aunt) and in third person from Peyton Kelleher's who was a sixteen year old.

"This story is an environmental warning story, as Dana discovers a possible source for the increase in kidney in Black Bear. The potential toxin that Dana uncovers is an interesting topic, and it makes you wonder about the possible dangers of modern products."

We find Dana Carlson gets a call from her niece letting her know that her mom, Julie was very ill, Dana rushed back to Black Bear, Minnesota to her sister. Even though Dana had not spoken to Julie for over twenty years, when arriving Dana find that Julie had died. Now, this is where and when all the secrets began to come out and when I say to you that you must pick up this good read to see not only where and when but you will also get all of the what and how in this excellently written read. It is some intriguing read that I wasn't able to put down until the end only to see how these two were telling this to us.

Questions that will be asked and answered.....
"Is there an environmental problem in the town? Will Peyton find out the truth? Will Joe? What happens with Joe and Dana? Dana's job? Peyton? Will Peyton's grandma ever tell her the secrets? Could this work of fiction be true?" "Invisible" was definitely one of "lost chances, forgiveness, and healing." How does all of this fit together?...well, this is where you will have to pick up the good read to find out.

I felt this author did a good job making you wonder if this really could happen. Only leaving me to say Wow, what a read. If you like family drama and secrets with realistic characters .. you have come to the right place for "Invisible" would be a excellent read for you that I would recommend.

Can You Stay For Breakfast?

Review:

"Can I Say For Breakfast?" By B.M. Hardin was a wonderful sweet romantic read.  This author did a wonderful job in being able to bring it all together for a great read in just a short time.  I couldn't believe how fast I was able to read it...I read it straight through without putting it down for nothing with it  being such a page turner. There were many twist and turns but in the end everything was back on tack the way it was to be. Be prepared for 'secrets, love, lies and deceiption'  because there will be many in this read as you go from one chapter to the next.  You never knew just what was coming next.

As this story starts out we find Staci is lonely and is 'determined to find love.' She "meets Ty, and she is convinced that he is her Mr. Right," however, will this come to pass? This is where this story will pick up and I say you must pick up this wonderful read to find out just what this author has in store for the reader.  As you are going through the  twisting and turning more and more secrets will come out that will have you wondering if Staci and Ty will find that love that each one wanted so badly.  This author works  her magic with this novel making it flow so well and I really loved at the end of each chapter their would be a inspirational quotes...by 'Anonymous' that  tied into  that  particular section  together only to give you something to think on...

Here is one of those quotes after a Staci chapter....

"Love is patient, Love is Kind, When you find love, real love, do whatever you have to do to hold on to it.  You only get one true love in your life time, be sure not to let it pass you by."

Definitely questions like  "does true love always prevail and are secrets always as quiet as they are kept" will be answered in the end.  The characters were simply off the chart...all so real, alive, memorable and some even charming.

I thought that "Can You Stay For Breakfast?" was a phenomenal good read and to the author well done and I hope to read more of your novels.  Would I recommend this novel? ....YES!

Review:

"Devil's Bargain" by Rachel  Caine was the first in this series of the Red Letter Days and had  some paranormal, mystery and  thriller ...all in this urban  adult read.  This novel will have  some  supernatural going on and full of action.  I thought that the plot was somewhat complex then with a mix of the urban paranormal which became interesting by the 'Cross Society' the idea of the Leads and Actors that was explained toward the end of the read.  Now, to really see what is going on you must pick up "Devil's Bargain" to see where, how, why and what of it all by this author.

"The catch to this story is that Jazz has to become partners with a woman she doesn’t know and go on investigations for a mysterious company, no questions asked."

The characters were all intriguing...Jazz, Lucia, James, Ben, Manny, and Pansy were are likable in some form or another and very realistic.  Was their a blossiming romance between James and Jazz? That remained somewhat strange to me but it did clear up somewhat as I continued with the read. I found this read somewhat strange at times but since this is a series I am sure  it will catch up especailly with that cliffhanger ending.

If you are in for a paranormal,  mystery thrillers, with detectives and a female lead you have come to the right place for "Devil's Bargain" would be recommended to you as a good read.

Review:

"Dark Knight" by Donna Kauffman was indeed a good romantic suspense contemporary read.  It was the fourth series in conclusing to this series.  This novel was another one of her well written novels that you will find yourself being pulled into this fast read especially in the cabin scenes, the battle between this
hero and heroine(Logan & Scottie) was the perfect foreplay with the perfect background in their developing romance.

It starts...
"Scottie Giardi took over when Seve Delgado went into witness protection, during Santerra's Sin. Now as head of the secret government task force known as the Dirty Dozen she rarely works in the field. However, on Christmas Eve she receives a very mysterious phone call from Seve warning her one of her operatives, Lucas Blackstone, is in danger. Apparently, the danger comes in the form of an identical twin brother, Logan Blackstone. Scottie's mission is to contain Logan, by any means necessary,...until Lucas completes his mission."

The characters are all well developed that will keep you truly entertained only to get a good conclusion to the series.  I found "Dark Knight" a good novel that I would recommend as a good read.

"Wellesley Wives" by Suzy Duffy was really some reading being a contemporary, women fiction-chick lit, with lots of drama and some humor.  After reading this novel I had many thoughts...Wow, this was some read where two best friends 'manage to stay strong and support each other through dreadful, heart wrenching crises.'  This novel is one of friendship, love and family where "the author gets inside their motivations and hearts, so that even if we deplore their actions, a part of us will under stands them and more importantly forgives them." When reading you will find yourself caught up where you will find a 'beautifully woven story about high-life, friendship, love, loss, cheating, lying, marriage and second chances.' Wow, Ms. Duffy you are simply a wonderful storyteller! "Wellesley Wives" will have you laughing  while still  leaving  you sobbing chapter after chapter. I found all of the characters were strong and were well developed in  tough situation that would definitely keep you turning the pages until the end.  What a local .... Wellesley, MA. that this author wrote her setting from. No, I am not from Wellesley, however this book was published on Sept 27th...which is my birthday! And yes, I would recommend "Wellesley Wives" as a good read.

"Until There Was You: A Loveswept Contemporary Military Romance" by Jessica Scot was a wonderful contemporary romantic military romance making this her second in this series. We are introduced to Evan Loehr and Claire Montoya. I could not put this novel down once I started reading it, This author give us a realistic look on the military and even a relationship between to emotional and very wounded people where we see that both have demons that they had
to deal with but often seemed to compliment each other as they are forced to work together to train a combat team. This author did a wonderful job at making you feel just what Evan and Claire were going through. You are able to taste their frustrations, feel their fears and insecurities from their own personal lives. This read was very enjoyable...yet heavy at times but had the right amount to humor to lighten it up a bit.

I found this story with a good plot and the characters were all likable and with this novel "Until There Was You" you have a well written novel that I would definitely recommend to you.
