Review:

"The Secret Keeper" by Kate Morton was a very good long mystery, historical and romance read.  But it was worth it. It was a good well written read with all of its history and its characters  being very well developed, drawned,"sometimes
sympathetic, maddening  and not at all forgotten."   There will be many twist and turns so you will have to keep up with the storyline. Be ready to be taken from the present to the past and back as this mystery unfolds with this is taking place in London.  We find that Laurel Nicholson who is now in her sixties will reflect back to 1960's  in her teen years where a crime was committed by her mother, Dorothy who is now ninety and is dying.  This was commited outside their 'Greenacres farmhouse.'  Now this story will picks up from here going back and forth from the past to the present to where Laurel is driven to find answers
to this crime.  Laurel will  seek answers from her scientist brother, who was a toddler at the time of this crime, to help solve this answer to their mother's secret.  Be ready for family saga along with some historical drama in  this murder mystery.  You will be kept guessing till the end, at least it was
for me,  which makes this such a good well written story.  Wow! what a surpise
ending!  Would I recommend?  YES, especially if you are into a good historical
mystery read...then this read would be for you.
