Review:

"Wellesley Wives" by Suzy Duffy was really some reading being a contemporary, women fiction-chick lit, with lots of drama and some humor.  After reading this novel I had many thoughts...Wow, this was some read where two best friends 'manage to stay strong and support each other through dreadful, heart wrenching crises.'  This novel is one of friendship, love and family where "the author gets inside their motivations and hearts, so that even if we deplore their actions, a part of us will under stands them and more importantly forgives them." When reading you will find yourself caught up where you will find a 'beautifully woven story about high-life, friendship, love, loss, cheating, lying, marriage and second chances.' Wow, Ms. Duffy you are simply a wonderful storyteller! "Wellesley Wives" will have you laughing  while still  leaving  you sobbing chapter after chapter. I found all of the characters were strong and were well developed in  tough situation that would definitely keep you turning the pages until the end.  What a local .... Wellesley, MA. that this author wrote her setting from. No, I am not from Wellesley, however this book was published on Sept 27th...which is my birthday! And yes, I would recommend "Wellesley Wives" as a good read.
